The page for Mainstream Obscurity is listed as a work which is critically acclaimed and known, but isn't watched/read/played/listened to much. The concept is fine, but it's heavily being misused. While there are several legitimate examples, such as Charlie Chaplin or Shirley Temple, many are either bands which are "only known for their hits" which can describe most artists with a few exceptions (The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd), or are works which are very much legitametely famous that millions have seen, and some even contain really bad lies.
