I like the little blonde girl's fighting style, its probably my favourite of the show so far with its misdirection and agility. The bear continues to be the best character in the series though.

This time Nomura enters a boxing match with a bear... who also knows boxing. And wins. Because Nomura is awesome like that.

Meanwhile Rin wins a sword fight by running straight at her opponents blade, which it turns out really freaks people out.

Man, this series is manly.

She looks like a spinning top.

Yeah,Taisha Ryu is a cool style, I'm kinda sad Warabi didn't get to show off more of it. She didn't even get to do any of those slick fake-slash-and-feint moves.

I also thought it was cool that it was Onigawara who took down the miniboss this time around. Like said, charging straight at a blade is crazy manly.

Kinda feel like we're going to get a breather episode next, unless Miss Crazy Fish-Eyes decides she wants to lay the smackdown.

I was a bit shocked how well they explained the techniques of Jikishinkage-ryu and Taisha-ryu. Somebody definitely did their research. Did not expect it at first.

EDIT: Read the earlier comments on the author. That does explain it. It's rare to find people who do dedicate their time to study koryu.

On today's episode, Everbody Wants to Fuck Nomura. Except the guys, thank god. Who know what the yaoi fangirls would have come up with then.

Situation reminded of IS, only watchable and actually funny. Like, normally I hate when a harem gets a posessive, but this I was fine with.

And apparently the bear was female too. ...Anyone else tired of that cliche?

Also, how can Circus Loli say Fish-Eyes is going too far when she's the one who crucified someone?! These bitches be crazy.

The key thing here is he will actively talk about the craziness as well as react honestly. Also no one is acting like this is normal, "these girls are freaken crazy" is the in universe reaction to them in addition to ours.

The bear being a girl only made the Sumo episode even funnier in retrospect.

All caught up to this. Still keeping up with that Prison School vibe, which I'd happy about. Thug MC is still a thug and I love it. I didn't expect him to turn the Supreme Five Swords into a harem, but since I don't really care about them I'll just roll with it. Tamaba looks to be the freak of the bunch, so I'm interested in seeing how she's dealt with next week.

I get the feeling all the harem stuff is there to just camouflage the fact that the creator just wants to do a battle anime/manga.

Some of it does feel phoned in, especially in the characters themselves.

At this point it's hard to imagine why Nomura even cares what any of those crazy bitches think of him. Just beat the shit out of them and be done with it. We are already at a point where that would be totally reasonable.

Also too bad they skipped an actual explanation of why Warabi is helping him.

Not just odd. It was icky. Like, seriously, what. What. No. Stop. This is not funny. Stop.

I was just down on the episode in general. The abusiveness has gotten irritating. At least before they were only horribly misguided, now they're just taking out their frustration on him.

Good thing crazy chick saved it at the last minute. Carve 'em up!

EDIT: And also neat that Warabi didn't fall for him. Even if apparently the bear had to pick up the slack. Ugh.

Damn, Satori is creepy, and annoying. It was so satysfing to see Nomura slap that monster across the face.

I wonder what will happen next.

So naked Satori was one thing, but then Nomura decides to strip too. Fanservice vs Manservice. Incredible. Even comes with a bitch slap at the end (incidentally, favorite relevant internet comment: "He slapped that chick into a different type of dere"). They might as well have sex already. Which I guess would be inadvisable given how crazy the chick is. Shame, really, she has the cutest design of the bunch for me. And her sword style is second only to Warabi's.

Speaking of Warabi, wonder what she saw behind that mask. I will assume it's Satori's crossdressing twin brother, because anime.

Nomura vs. Tamaba was indeed a treat. Fighting nakedness with nakedness reminds of how the main character of Prison School basically did the same to a major female character there. Far different context of course. Onigawara and Kikakujō complaining that Nomura doesn't want to molest them never gets old ether.

Well, this episode had some hilarious moments, like Rin and Mary tea drinking contest, and also some touching ones, like Nomura and Rin conversation. Holy cow, Rin's mother is crazy! I mean that's a fucked up thing o say to your child.

Nomura sure has a forgiving heart. What a guy.
