(It's then that she notices Philo turning up again and talking to a pair of Gastrodons about training somewhere.) Hey, looks like the oppahtunity ta train just walked up ta us! (She says to the others.) Didn't realize Phil had a trainin' area 'eres...
(I look over as Roisín's Ninetales friend returns.) I think we may have a good opportunity for you all to learn what you can do just around the corner. ( I tell the Drifloon and Sandshrew.)

(I spring toward her while she's speaking, only for her to quickly dodge to the side, mutter something under her breath and vanish into thin air along with Goobert, the remaining Clamperls, and, for whatever reason, a Machoke hiding under a table, leaving nothing between me and the wall!)

(He's gone...I couldn't save him...he didn't even recognize me...that...THAT WITCH!! I don't even bother getting up from where I landed and simply lay on the floor, weeping sad and angry tears.)
(Outside, the brawl between the Blissparcians and the Clamperls comes to an abrupt halt when all of the Clamperls and the fleeing Huntail suddenly vanish as if they all just used Teleport. What's left are several dozen very confused Pokémon and debris from attacks and damaged buildngs and stands.)

(The Muk janitor peers out from where he ended up hiding along the beach path and notes the barge out on the water suddenly lurching downward as if a ton of weight was suddenly placed in it.) Eh...?

Travel down that, and you'll soon find the dojo in a forest clearing. If you need further guidance, well, I was thinking of paying the place a visit myself!"

Some training can help. You can't get too complacent, you know. (The old fox's has a lot of fans. I don't necessarily envy him on that front, but I'm just rambling to myself. As soon as everyone was ready, I'd start following them to the dojo.)

Very well, Mr. Peritopulousss...okay, if you are all ready, I ssshall lead you to the area.
Alice whips her body around yet again and begins to slither her way out of Narcia, generally following the direction given by Philo.
I decide to start to hit the ground running as our—I would assume to be—hostess for the evening decides to also go for a round of training. I wait on Marsha before continuing, and once she catches up I ask a question.
Do you wanna help me figure out what I can and can't do on this leg? I'd think my agility would be most damaged.

Autumn is forced to stop and think about what she wants here. As Eliot is suggesting, she could let it pass and let Whitney live on like this. Everything does seem okay on the surface. But is that something she can really trust? All she saw was the surface last time, and apparently the issues that turned the girl into a Buneary were lurking underneath. Eventually, the Braixen comes to a decision: the truth was more important than keeping all these memories to herself.

Mila stands back up, thoughtlessly attempting to grab and carry the full-sized Nyquil on the way. Whether successful or not, she takes a moment to head over towards Autumn to let her know of her plans before she sets off with the others.
"Autumn? I'm going with some others to practice. I know we talked about this, but I need to at least be confident with myself. I won't change, okay?"
"Huh? Oh— I see... be careful, Mila."

Unexpectedly, Mila picks me up and starts carrying me away. (Oh, I guess this is happening.) It doesn't really… bother me at this point. In fact, I'm trying to get comfy, though, I look at the others, curious if anyone's staring.

I feel a boost of confidence as Marsha agrees to help me with figuring out what I can and can't do on my leg. As I hobble forth to test the leg some more I look down again at it and start thinking. My lateral agility, speed, jumping capabilities, you name it...all likely socked by this, for probably a good while. Let me reiterate once again: While Hikari did help with sealing up the wound there's definitely still underlying damage that the magic simply couldn't help. Ironic in the sense that magic seems to be all over the place in our travels recently.
What about Rex, Bailey, and Steph, by the way? They're gonna need just as much help if not more considering their our newest members.
As Alice starts to push off just a bit more she looks back ar the group.
What are you all up to that you wanted to come to Mr. Peritopulousss'sss dojo anyway? It issss certainly better than any other one I've been to, however.

Stellan walks up toward the others, stretching himself back out after being a clone of Melani for that ten minutes.
We...were best friends growing up. Matter of fact, she felt it more because I was her only friend. Day, after day, after day, she tried so hard to make more friends but she never succeeded. It was for a variety of factors, but her grandfather being a famous scientist didn't do much for her, when it should have. She wanted to be like him, to, to make people like her because of that. One day when we were playing around at the beach in Gleamscape was when I noticed her begin to change. She told me all about wanting to go to Spivey to replicate her grandfather's success...

A young Gorebyss and her Alolan Geodude friend are building another sandcastle, as they do, when the Gorebyss stops to look at something. She sighs, longingly.

Little could 10-year-old me have ever figured that her words that day would carry so much meaning now. After the incident at Spivey, especially after she went after my father...she went off the deep end, and started to build an army. I now know what she's trying to do. Not only has she succeeded in getting innocent pokémon to look like her, she's brainwashed them into becoming her undying servants, her friends with one goal in sight and little opposition. She wants to destroy the spring in Danjor Island, continually build her army, and take over everything in sight.
He sighs.
This is why I need to accompany you all to Danjor Island. Somewhere deep within that wretched heart of that witch, is the wide-eyed girl I once knew. The girl whose parents saw me as one of their own, days spent having fun at the beach, growing up side-by-side...I know she's still in there.
He starts to shed a tear.
I...I had the chance to stop her from ever even starting on her descent into madness, and I blew that chance. I want to make this right, for you all, me, my father, and all the innocent pokémon she's enslaved along the way. I want to be part of the solution, not the problem...
He sits down and lets more tears run down. He's genuinely in sorrow over this all happening.

[And then Whitney's strained voice and forced grin makes this a hundred times worse. I'm really not sure I want to be involved with the apparent friction between these two, so seeing the others moving along, I decide to follow them as well, adjusting the strap of my bag as I do.]
The Stribling family eventually manages to reach the group, or in this case, Autumn and Whitney. Though Pauline and Lyman are none the wiser, Woodruff senses the tension in the air and shrinks a little.

I nod to indicate that I'm completely now ready to move on after briefly stopping to hear out some explanations about the new guys and how they're already ready and willing to learn what they can do. Great. I start to walk ahead now, following Marsha. As I surge ahead I cannot help but note Eliot's following along with us. Is he also wanting to use this available opportunity to train?
Oh, Eliot! You coming with us to train too or?
After briefly stopping and treading back a bit herself Alice resumes her leading of the group to the training area. (Dirt road on the left, halfway between townsss...hmm...where...? I'll find it, what am I worrying about?)
Eventually Alice will lead the party out of Narcia proper and into the path between the towns of Narcia and Holstown, where she is trying to seek out the path described.

Tiff watches with relief as her family members are all coming out relatively unscathed—except, where's the boat they were working on? Are Goobert's friends okay?

The moment they come to the relevant path, Philo takes charge, heading down it while gesturing to anyone who hasn't noticed it yet.
"This way! Come along now!"
Sure enough, they don't have to travel along the narrow, winding side route for long before the trees disperse and the simple wooden facade of the dojo comes into view. Painted on a sign outside it is a silhouette of an Alolan Ninetales' head, handily confirming that, yes, this is the right place.

By the time Autumn thinks to try to use his question as an out, the Smeargle has already gone on with the others, leaving her to handle the current situation. She shouldn't have expected any different, since she got herself into this, but somehow suddenly she wants out. As she looks back to Whitney, she's frowning and shrinking back slightly into a defensive posture.
"Well... I don't know of any way to give them back, but if there's something you want to know about, I'll try to tell you. Like "The Giver"— oh, you wouldn't get that reference any more. I'm sorry."
On the path
Mila doesn't say much, focusing her efforts on lifting the Quilava she now realizes she picked up earlier. Though it's some exertion for her to keep it up, she manages it until the dojo comes into view. Placing him back down on the ground, she whispers a quick "sorry about that" before going over to the guiding Ninetails.
"Do you know if there's anyone who could train me with electricity here? I haven't really, well, had a chance to learn formally."
