Needs Help: Asskicking Equals Authority

The voting for this image arrived at a deadlock of 4:3 in the Image Suggestion thread, before it was noted that link rot had struck, so no idea how much that influenced it.

Specifically, the image was from Warhammer 40,000, this crop◊ of this larger image◊: Ork warlord Ghazhkull compared to his followers.

That said, I don't see the "leading" part. It looks like an Elite Mook or something.

Well, the only real way to tell the Orks apart from a purely physical standpoint is that the bigger they are, the meaner and tougher they are, and thus the higher up the totem pole they are in their society. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of artworks available that show Ghazghkull in a position of leadership; this◊ is the only thing I found aside from the one already suggested.

I think this needs a Lampshading image due to the trope's intricacies.

Suggestions are lame regardless.

Problem with the images is that it's hard to demonstrate the line between this trope and Authority Equals Asskicking

I don't think the lions fighting image works primarily because it doesn't really illustrate the trope. "If you're strong, you lead" implies that loser-lion follows winner-lion, except I thought male lions kept away from other male lions and instead led their own harems? I mean that these lions are fighting over a lioness, not who is in charge or something like that.

... unless they're totally gay, I guess.

I can only think of wolves doing this (as an illustration, not an example). Or hens (like this one or something like it◊).

Just a fight doesn't show the leader part. Probably hard to illustrate clearly, though.

Maybe we should BUPKIS this one.
