@Clarste: If that's the case, then my luck has been astonishingly high. I can't remember how many rolls I've gone through, but I think I got Lucina on my 5th, Peri on the 7th, Tiki 8th, Marie 9th, and the Trio I just mentioned on the 10th. So instead of getting a 5* every 1/16, my record is at 1/7.

We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.@the far counter topic 2 pages ago...
If only we could sacrifice Ryoma instead; swordspeople are a dime a dozen after all? Too bad his ranged counter is tied to.his weapon.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Decided to do one roll on the Battling Robins, and I finally got Hawkeye. That was the only one of the focus heroes I didn't have in some form.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!New event is up: Sibling Bonds. New quests, paralogue and focuses.
- Eldigan (Sword)
- Sanaki (Red Tome)
- Olwen (Blue Tome)
- Reinhardt (Blue Tome)
- Klein (Archer)
- Lachesis (Staff)
I think I can skip this banner. Nothing that interests me aside from Klein a little.
That tease at the end though. "Sanaki is a little sister, but who is her older sibling?"
The next banner(not the second Sibling one) features Effie, Nino, Felicia, and Setsuna.
Unless the second Sibling banner is any good, I think I'll save until the Effie/Nino banner.
So I rolled 7 things (I quit twice because there's a ton of greens) and the significant haul includes Sanaki and Lon'qu.
Sanaki gets the following (top level only for brevity)
- (5* - 17/9/6/4/8)
- Cymbelline (Mt 14 Rng 2) - Grants adjacent allies Atk +4
- Harsh Command (B)
- Triangle Adept 3
- Hone Atk 3
Lon'qu:
- (3* - 18/6/9/4/5)
- Killing Edge+
- Glimmer
- Speed +3
- Vantage 3

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!I spent 70 orbs trying and failing to get Sanaki, who probably isn't all that good anyway. Oh well, at least I got 5* Ogma. Also apparently missed a couple of 5* characters on the way, by only picking red and blue orbs.
Eh, not all that interested in the next banner. I'll just eventually promote my Nino to 5* manually.
What I really want is Sanaki for Nino/Tharja nuking or Olwen for reasons.
In other news, drew a 5* Lachesis, not entirely sure how I'm gonna use her, but I'm glad to have a high * staff user. Shame she's not as funny as Serra

x4 Also the next Grand Hero might be Ursula.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! They put Lachesis as a Staff user. Not sure if this is how we always do Lachesis. I thought she eventually moves to 'hack and slash everything in sight'.
I pulled my 3rd 5* Young Tiki. Meanwhiles, good greens or blues remain nowhere to be found.
The memebanner.
Nino is so good I think I will wait for that one even though I already have her at 4*. Plus if the Inheritance thing happens, then it means I might get the opportunity to teach Draw Back/Pull Back to someone else if I do draw her at 5.
Setsuna is rather situational, but in a Takumeta, she might shine as she is designed to kill bows and shurikens.
Since I don't have much else to do, I am trying to level all my 4* up to 40. So far I got Peri, Fae, Selena, Nino and Catria. You can feel the difference in tier between those - landing a single kill with Peri in the upper levels of the training tower was almost impossible.

No armored, even mediocre one, either.
I haven't found armored units to be that useful in the Arena. Effie is probably the most useful right now due to her good support abilities and color advantage over the numerous red swords running around. Unlike Hector, I think she can fare well without a healer on the team (Hector needs to be above 80%HP to really shine).
If Inheritance makes it possible to grant Effie Distant Counter however...I mean, she would lose Death Blow but her ATK stat is stellar already so she doesn't really need it.
The point of Armored units isn't to be good, it's to raise your arena ranking by having more total stats. The ideal team, point-wise, is 4 Hectors, and anything else is a compromise towards being able to actually win with no losses.

Well, I'm sick of green and transparent failing me, so I went ahead and cut them out on first pull of the night, which... meant pulling just 2 reds. I don't want to complain about immediately grabbing a 5*, but it was Chrom. Because apparently I can't ever get a good mage or not get someone really slow. He's +Atk, -Res, though, which seems good enough (mmm, 56 Atk). The other red as a 3* adult Tiki. Not too exciting, but it was someone I didn't have yet, so that's cool, I guess.
Second attempt is... a single red. Damnit. The game doesn't want me to efficiently fish. The pull is a 4-star Seliph. Weird. Got Chrom up to 19 while farming for the orbs for this failure of a pull. Guess I'll spend tomorrow's stamina grabbing the last 5 orbs with which to hopefully attempt one more full pull without shitty orb distribution.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiThe problem with fishing for colors is that it resets your pity boost whenever an orb you didn't pick would've been a 5*. I missed two when I did my big pull just now.
Unfortunate, but there's a lot more in the non-5* list on the red and blue side that I'd want over green and transparent. Plus, transparent tends to be worth less points and green has no focus at the moment. In the very least, I think that it's worth fishing just red and blue for this specific banner, despite the potential loss of bonus.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiI will skip this banner. Not all that interesting and, at most, I will be able to make two pulls total. Probably best to save for a big summon later on.
I wish the bonus to 5* would carry from banner to banner. That way I could just summon without feeling I am wasting something.
But if you end up always losing units because you are that slow and you can't dodge Tiki forever, it becomes pointless. Unless you have some unlimited supply of swords to try and try and try and try again.
That's why I said you compromise. A Hector isn't going to hold you back from winning reliably. Two Hectors might. Four Hectors is just kind of silly. Anyway, the way it sorts out is that all the best teams need at least one armor unit to keep up in score, unless you're willing to spend all the money and get Lucina +10.

Checking back on "Obtained" category history, I got M!Robin as the 17th pull, then Marth as the 20th following, then Seliph as the 14th. Of those three, M!Robin has the super-garbage -Spd Bane, Marth's got a decent +Spd/-HP and Seliph has a pretty terrible -Atk/+Res setup (and, power-wise, is inferior to drawing a 4* Tharja...). Even when I'm "lucky", I'm unlucky.
(Of course, I guess that should surprise no one who has seen my Awakening and Fates runs.)
