Having the "Same" result pop up in the beginning of the battle feels so weird. Probably will be the closest gauntlet for a while.

Faye versus Tharja was extremely close.

I hate it when I get lumped together with two units of the same color in VG battle — and our opponents are all the color that we're weak to.

I legitimately believed in Priscilla's chances to win. Now I'm riding the Tharja-Train and I'll see her to victory.

Unrelated, but I'm really surprised by my defense team: four wins this week, much better than what I can usually expect. I bet DC Berkut Lance +    +    Effie is catching lots of people off guard.

She has anti-projectile seal for Brave Lyn and there's at least one instance where I had her survive a green mage to nuke them clean off the planet. Good job Effie!

Armored Emblem were also the key to clearing Infernal Berkut. With that said, I have completed none of the quests and I am not entirely sure how I will go about it. IMO, the map is one of the hardest to clear with conditions.

The barest minimum for me is to get another spare Berkut: his spear is sexy as fuck and I want to give it to everyone. I'm thinking about giving one of my Cordelia the aforementioned spear and make her an off-tank, similarly to Valter (who is naturally tanky) and Caeda (not amazingly tanky but she's doing her best).

I've run into a few DC Berkut's Lance Effies. Definitely unexpected but slightly easier to deal with than the Tikis and Nowis running around.

I don't know about you guys, but I think nabbing these early multipliers are the best thing to do this round. A lot of people expect Same hell to kick in for long periods starting today and especially throughout tomorrow.

I've been dumping 200 flags for every multiplier I get this whole time and it's git me to cumulative ranl ~18000, which I'm pretty okay with.

And the "Same" war begins.

I tried again for the 2nd block of VG and got 2 Reinhardts. One of the them is +Atk/-Spd.

We're finally out of Same hell — Sigurd got a multiplier.

That took a long time.

Sure, sure, it just amuses me to see how things have changed from the merry days of bitching about Lucina stomping everyone. It's like when someone mentions that Takumi isn't that great a unit, and I remember how terrifying it used to be to see the one character with Close Counter show up. Or when some whippersnapper backtalks their elder, not like it was in my day when everyone was respectful and stayed off my lawn.

Without feather hunting, a Voting Gauntlet is just a popularity contest that has been carefully patched to prevent the most popular characters from consistently winning. Wherefore should anyone care about such a thing?

I was just using my own colorless unit like a pleb because no one seems to know how to share anything but Sigurd, only to find myself with three colorless units against a Raven tome TA Inigo (so... the only Inigo that ever shows up, really).

This game is actively trolling me, isn't it?

I'm on team Sigurd, sharing Nino who can kill anyone but Sigurd, basically.

To avoid color issues, I took it upon myself to start by using various units of other colors than the unit I am supporting, knowing that I can use flags later on with the focus unit (if I have it). This way I typically get the flags for my unit's color last, but I know I'll eventually get them.

Plus I remove friends who share same color units, and those who remain tend to avoid sharing the wrong color.

Whoa, is it gonna be a back-and-forth from now on?

Also, I had up to over 3,000 flags for lazing out and not playing hard during the last two rounds due to real life getting in the way.

I think the current form of the gauntlet is almost optimal. We have the right balance between the opportunity for challengers to pull upsets, and the fact that favorites still tend to mostly win, and there is also room for actually close duels like the one right now.

My last pet peeve is the fixed times of the gauntlet, because as an European, sleeping and enjoying the biggest multipliers are pretty much exclusive, since duels end around 3-4AM. It would be nice if once in a while, they switched the starting/closing times.

I pulled on the Enduring Love Block B banner and got a 4* Sheena. She's +HP and -Spd and Res. Huh?

What website do you use for checking IV? Because those double banes are impossible. I think your source is flawed, or you are not reading it properly.

I'm checking the game, not any websites. I don't understand it either. I tried fiddling with her weapons and those stats didn't change. :S
