I agree. Like I am fine if there was just a way to fill up completely empty ability slots, that would be fine, but editing all of the abilities of an unit seems so daunting.

Eirika is a great support unit too. Honestly, I have Takumi and am rotating him out of the main lineup.
I have Takumi myself and although he is great and all, I don't think he is so overpowering as people make he seems. He dies too easily, for example, so his close counter is not actually that useful. His offensive power is amazing, but he is not the only one who can fill that gap.

I think people mostly hate him on defense teams because it often seems like he can cheat a kill on them with his counter, but on offense he's not especially strong and you can't ever use his best ability without putting him at risk.
I mean, he's not terrible as just a generic archer, and might even be the best archer by default, but it's difficult for him to carry a team in the way a tanky melee character might..
I wonder if Jeorge might even be better than him. Tho I forget what Parthia's special ability is.

I do find that Takumi can survive some attacks, depending on the target. At the very least it is slightly hard to just OHKO him with one unit. And since he gets Vengeance, that will add more damage to him if he survives.
