I checked his stats right after I got him. I have not equipped him with any skills. But I will check the next time I play and unequip his weapon to see what his stats say.

A banner with Karel, Sonya and Neph.

Honestly, this might be the first banner in a while what actually tempts me because I failed to get anything when Neph was around, but I really shouldn't try my luck right now.

Don't have Karel. Free pull on the new banner had 3 red orbs and the first was Hana, so I grab the other two anyway... it's Leo and a 5* Tharja.

Damn it game, can't you wait for next week to give me this kind of luck?

"Heroes with Powerful Specials" doesn't sound right, but I guess they ran out of space for "Heroes with Skills that Boost Special Damage".

Along with the free summon (Bartre), I decided to pull all the non-colorless stones and also got Boey and Oboro. Ok then, that's the end of the banner for me.

edit: One hero was missing.

Logically, the name does make sense, though. +10 flat damage on all offensive specials is pretty damn powerful. That's around a 60% increase on your average Bonfire/Iceberg damage and the flat bonus is sometimes even bigger than whatever Moonbow itself adds.

Just did my free pull and left it at that, grabbing a green. Still no extra Nino, but I guess Barst is a decent consolation prize.

I dunno, my first impression of the short title is kinda like "heroes with specials that do tons of damage", and given I'm looking at Moonbow and Reprisal... my eyebrows were raised. [lol]

Only realized what they actually meant when I read the details. Heh heh heh.

Free summon was Beruka... decided to stubbornly do a full summon anyway and got... Draug... two Sophias in a row... and Nephenee! evil grin The only Tellius character I'm missing now is Ike himself.

EDIT: Huh, she's +Def/-Atk. Far from optimal, but I hope it won't matter much

EDIT 2: Turns out, her defence is pretty good to begin with. Giving her Bonfire or Ignis might yield interesting results.

Pulled two green orbs (free + 4 orbs).

Pulled 3 stars Frederick and Cherche. Both of them. 3 stars.

0/10, would not recommend. Cherche was promptly promoted and fed to Cherche +7. All hail Cherche +8, her axe is the axe that will split the heaven.

I don't know how you guys are faring in that Tempest Trial, but there is a rather simple two-units combination that can help tremendously with the time score on maps 4 to 6 (the Brave Heroes maps) and will also give you a large help on map 7 too. It's not a guaranteed success, but it is not far from it - there are some very unlikely enemy combinations that might screw you over, but most of the time it'll work like a charm.

So, far that, you need:

  • An offensive mounted ranged unit with Reposition
    • Brave Lyn is by far the best choice because she gets the stat bonuses this time around. Also, many people have her with neutral IV. If you pick Lyn, I highly recommend giving her Desperation - 3 is best if available, but 2 works very well too. She excels because she has very few counters, and with Desperation, she should be able to deal with almost every mage - the only downside is that she is tanked by Hector, who basically becomes her one hard counter.
    • The Reinhardt also works, but he has more hard counters in the various green mages with high RES and inflated stats, so you might need to run a red unit with high RES alongside him in case you need to pull one of those - Joshua, for example. Same thing with Olwen, who is less powerful but better on defense due to her higher SPD. Also kinda needs Hone Atk/Hone Cav for coverage.
    • You can also run Blade Cecilia/Ursula/Leo but you will need to also run a unit with Hone Cav, and even then it doesn't guarantee success due to the aforementioned counters issue.
  • A Dancer. I prefer to play it safe and run Breath of Life Olinja, but a Hone Atk/Hone Spd dancer synergizes very well with Lyn, and the healing is seldom mandatory, it just gives flexibility (you can use a staffer, or a Falchion nurse - they might help vs Ike). Wings of Mercy 3 helps, mostly on map 7, but it isn't even mandatory.
  • A third unit with Swap, Drag Back or Reposition. Reposition is the best, but the other two work. And it can really be anyone but an Armored unit.
  • Fourth unit should be picked for farming and strategic coverage, and can be anyone.

If you have that, the strategy to go through maps 4 to 6 will always be the same - I will use Lyn, Dancer and Thirdunit for the following explanation:

  • On map 11-1, you'll need to place Lyn on 2 or 4, depending on whether you want to hit the enemy on "blue horseman spot", or the one on "Bike spot".
    • If Thirdunit has Reposition, it should go on 3, and Dancer on 2 or 4 (the one Lyn isn't on).
    • If Thirdunit has Swap/Drag Back, then Dancer should go on 3, and Thirdunit on 1 (if Lyn is on 2) or 2 (if Lyn is on 4)
  • Turn 1, Lyn will attack the enemy in range (and hopefully kill it). Then, Thirdunit will make it so that Dancer ends up two tiles below Lyn, so that Dancer can dance Lyn, who Repositions him/her away from any threat but mounted ranged units - side note, those can be baited by staying near your initial position, so if they are on annoying spots, play defense.
  • On map 11-2, start with Lyn on 1, Dancer on 2, and Thirdunit on 4. Turn 1, Lyn will attack the enemy on "archer spot", Third unit will bring Dancer one (Swap/Draw Back) or two (Reposition) tiles closer from Lyn, so she can dance Lyn from the tile just below her (it might work with the tile on Lyn's right, but it's not guaranteed depending on what assist you used). Again, you should be away from any threat but ranged mounted units (and Lyn's very high RES should help tank them - Cecilia is the most dangerous here).
  • On map 11-3, start with Lyn and Dancer on 1 and 3 (its pretty much identical, I usually put Dancer on 1 and Lyn on 3 but it doesn't change much). Turn 1, Lyn will go over the pillar to attack "Bike spot", Dancer will dance her from the side, and Lyn will Reposition dancer away (Dancer should land back on the tile she started the turn on).

In all three cases, it almost guarantees a Turn 1 pull, which ensures an A (or at worst B) rating in speed. Some additional notes to make it easier:

  • Wings of Mercy is not necessary, just comfortable. Having Lyn below 50% health can allow you to clean maps even faster due to her ludicrous power and ability to act twice. It might also help on map 7 (see below).
  • Use maps 1-3 to put Lyn in Desperation range. Neutral Lyn has 45 HP in this TT, which means that without any seal or merge, her 75% threshold is 33 HP, and her 50% threshold is 22 HP. Unboosted, she will have 22 DEF and 32 RES, which means any mage with 44 unboosted ATK (Mulagir cancels hones...) will put her under 75%, and any archer/ninja with 45 ATK will put her under 50%. Beware Setsuna, who comes with Bowbreaker, and all Brave Bows, but in the first three maps, Lyn can pretty much pull anyone else and survive.
  • Being in Desperation range should help Lyn deal with DC users such as Ryoma, Ike, Nowi, Tiki (and Dorcas in the future, probably). Again, be careful with the odd Bowbreaker.
  • Pick as Thirdunit (or fourth unit) someone who can kill Bike 1 on 1. Or at least, one with enough bulk to tank him while you chip his life away - Lyn is bad at killing Ike, she does about 12 dmg per attack (10+2), and her Special might be almost nullified by Urvan; plus he cancels Hones.
  • On map 7, Lyn should start on 1, Thirdunit on 2 and Dancer on 3 (if Thirdunit has Reposition, if not, it's the other way around, Dancer on 2 and Thirdunit on 3). Lyn will be able to hit either enemy 1 or enemy 2 from the spot between the destructible pillar and the solid one. Thirdunit should then move Dancer on 1 so that s/he can dance Lyn, who should then kill either enemy 1 or 2 - the other one, basically. What's great with that double attack is that, if you run Draconic Aura, you are pretty much guaranteed that it will trigger, and can as such (if Lyn is in Desperation range) be used to kill bulkier targets, while the "off turns" are used to kill weaker ones - typically, use the Special to kill the infantry on 1, and the off-turns to kill the ranged on 2. Once again, the only real threats are Setsuna and the Ravens, the rest should go down. If Lyn is below 50% and your dancer has Wings of Mercy 3, then you just have to start Lyn on 1 and warp near her after she attacks - which might help putting whoever your counter for Bike is in range of his attack on turn 1 too, that saves time.
  • Hector is indeed a hard counter to Desperation Lyn...but your Bike counter should also be able to deal with him. Two birds, one stone.
  • All Hones on Dancer or the last two units have their uses. Hone Spd guarantees Lyn will double everyone (you might even double the likes of Ayra or Hana). Hone Atk increases her firepower. Hone Def and Res allow you to modulate the HP she loses when she tanks ranged enemies, so she can be right where you want her. And of course, it helps when you want your other units to gain some HP along the way.

I realize that this is longer than I thought, but so far it has allowed me to constantly run two units with non-maxed out HM and to always get high speed scores - and once you get the hang of it it's really routine. It makes the farming rather more efficient (even moreso if either Lyn or a dancer have non maxed out HM, but I guess most of us have maxed them already).

So, I recently finally beat the Takumi & Hinoka Bound Hero Battle on Infernal. After several days of developing and tweaking strategies, those 4 Orbs felt so good.

All I'll say is that the "Deflect" skills can really give your units that bit of extra survivability that they may need to finish off any remaining enemies.

Did the quests using Klein, Eirika, Azura and Anna/4* Michalis.

Pull is using Klein to kill the lance flier, Azura gets Klein out of the way; she stays in range of the sword cavalry to kill him on the enemy phase. Then the axe user goes left to separate Michalis and the sword flier. Klein kills the sword flier, then Eirika tanks up the boss Michalis and doubles him down to the range where Anna/Michalis can finish off the boss.

Used practically the same team in Infernal. Klein (Reposition), Eirika (Reposition), Azura and Minerva (Reposition).

This time, the pull is on the left side with Klein killing the new sword flier.
Of course, Minerva was the one to off her bro with some help from Klein.

My Arena core plus Olivia walked all over Infernal. None of the reds stood a chance against Nowi, Nino obliterated any blues and Michalis's trash Res and Spd ensured that Nino turned him into paste nearly twice over. The only real key play was having Nowi Reposition Nino out of the way after she ganked the lance flier.
