oh, now i get it. I'm grinding him to get galeforce. right now my Broy has Fury and dragon fang. So in my case i just engage bike for something like 20+ damage, he counters, Broy does his second attacks, urvan does not proc since it's not a consecutive attack and i proc dragon fang on it. Even if the special doesn't proc, he lets Bike in such a state pretty much anyone on my team can finish him.

Yeah, but once you get Galeforce, it saves a ton of time for the first six stages given Roy's power, so what you gain by one-shotting Ike, you lose before in turns of play required.

I also didn't give him Fury because he doesn't have many HP to begin with and he needs to tank some things once in a while during the TT. Plus his nature isn't that great (-HP + Def if I recall).

True. it's just that i'm not after speed ranks right now, or else i'd just do all of it with my standard ursula-bike-xander-priscilla comp in the first place, not broy. I usually use T Ts to grind units who needs a few skills to learn.

I'd also like to point out that you don't actually need dragon fang to damage bike, just attacking him on player phase is enough (unless your roy is already low on health and running desperation) since urvan doesn't proc if bike attacks between broy's attacks that should leave him around what, 10 hps ? edit : oh wait no, he has 70 hps. But that's still a good 60% of his health in a single round of combat, which is mora than most sword users can aspire to, at least on my side.

edit : Ah, that also explains this, I'm running this with priscilla around to compensate for fury's recoil. Mine has 48 HP thanks to TT bonuses tho, which is more than anyone else on my team right now.

• Swordbreaker - cancels other Swordbearker swords
• Renewal
• Hit and Run / Drag Back - utility
• Axebreaker - a niche skill, it stops Hector, Dorcas or any Quick Riposte axe users

Pulled a Nowitech, and she's -Atk. At least I can have a functional Flier Emblem team with Bunmilla and Summer Corrin.

You can probably salvage her with an extremely significant amount of SI to make her a Blue Mage lure (her Res is pretty good). The problem is you want DC to optimize the set.

three mages isn't super functional, I'd recommend at least one and possibly two melees to go with a ranged. Just so Mulagir Lyn doesn't ruin your face (or Kitty Paddle Felicia/Sakura).

Apparently, whoring the team out for marginal gains (like giving 300 SP specials - it's not like they were super useful anyway) is efficient. Without resetting, first try landed me 4952 and I went from the 700-710 range to 704-714. Pretty sure I can aim for 4970 if I want to waste crests.

Okay yeah this TT map selection is terribad. The Brave Hero stuff is specifically designed to fuck you and I lost two teams in a row to one.

I strongarm with Mia, Dorcas, Lute, and Elise. Works every time.

Now, as for an auto-battle strategy... I'll get back to you on that.

x3 Yep, every 200 SP has the same value as a merge, so if your entire team went from a 200-SP special to an AoE, then you'd be looking at 2 base points of increase per match, leading to an average of +28 points per streak (of course, the RNG in matchmaking means you're almost never gonna see exactly that much more). AoE to Aether is even better better because that's an entire merge worth of points on its own. Another big increase is dropping any other assist for the dual rallies, as that's 150 -> 300 (granted, it's a lot harder to justify, given how good Reposition is).

Yeah no I'm not ditching my Draw Backs/Repositions, at least as long as I am playing Flier Emblem and Lyn is there every two or three teams. Maybe when I'll have given Camilla Gronnraven. Maybe.

But I realized Palla already knew Blazing Wind and Blazing Thunder. And that spare Hawkeye who became useless once I realized Death Blow wouldn't suit Cordelia gave Camilla Growing Light. I haven't had any use for either of those abilities so far, but maybe after the update and their reduced cooldown?

Post-change, they should be roughly as viable as Ignis/Glacies shenanigans.

Be careful of AoEing targets with Vantage, though, as Vantage does its check after the AoE damage lands.

Yeah I know, but I'm not worried. Swords and Axes just sacrifice on Palla, and Vantage is quite rare on lances at the moment. Camus has disappeared, for a lack of merges I assume.

So, today I finally pulled a Halloween unit, Jakob.

... And he's -Attack, +Speed.

I mean, since he's my only one, I'll still try to use him, I guess, but it sucks that I got the ONE IV I wouldn't have wanted at all.

And so Defense Team Subaki + armor swiftly claims its first victim.

Also I finally beat Tempest Trial deathless with Blyn, "Marth", Linde and Minerva but it took a heavy toll on my speed rating. One map I decided to go right, then retreated to the left when I found a better way to pull.

Just to note, maintenance coming in 28th or so for version 2.0. Five hours this one.

Poor version 1.9.

So apparently, Sigurd is still the king of hard 5 TT. I just put in my Bike and Rein +Healer with them and left the auto-pilot on.

Also, fun stuff that happened on Lunatic 7: Bike's AI doesn't know how to deal with pillars. Cecilia went around the pillar chipping him down. He didn't stand a chance. Bad for my speed rank, but when your designated Bike killer dies to a guidance assisted Tailtiu in map 6, you have to make do.

aaaaaaaaaand done with grinding broy. on the upside, most of the units that are here to grind will soon be done for a good while. Both cecilia, elincia and rehihardt are only waiting for their assist skill, BK's finally gonna get his black luna, and azura her wings of memecy 3. on the downside, broy's depart really hurt my whole comp. When he was here, his team was usually steamrollign everything up to and including the final map, with me often capitulating before finishing the map with a comp with Bike in it. Now i always end up using my 4 teams and bike is a huge pain in the ass to take down. Well that escalated quickly.

Reposition/Desperation Brave Lyn + Dancer can clean about 90% of the maps. You just need to find two units to grind alongside them to cover their few weaknesses.

I use Olinja with Breath of Life 3 & the lvl 1 seal, that's 17 HP recovered when necessary (although there was that one time where I couldn't use it for two straight maps, as those featured, in totality, four mages, and four infantries with a form of distant counter in Ryoma, Ike, Adult Tiki and Hector). But it's not necessary really, as if Lyn is hurt then her mobility and pulling ability increases thanks to WOM.

I have neutral Lyn, btw. She is just +1. But with the boosts she tanks about any non-raven mage (and she should survive the raven ones because her RES is more than decent and aside from Cecilia Raven mages have shitty ATK).

I pulled on Trick or Defeat again and got a 4* Seliph (+HP and Atk {I swear he got two Boon stats}, -Res) and Ogma (+HP, -Res).

Nah, no way he got two boon stats. Give us his stats with everything uneqipped, we'll figure this out.

Did you forget to unequip his weapon or his HP skill when you checked?
