On top of being poor quality, the image is also borderline-JAFAAC. While it kinda shows the "ancient" part given his white beard and aged appearance, what is he supposed to be protecting if you haven't seen the film?
I'm generally finding this to be a pretty hard trope to picture, but maybe someone else has some more ideas. Here are some alternate shots of the knight from Indy 3: 1, 2◊, 3◊. Also, Mr. Atoz◊ from Star Trek, and concept art of an ancient librarian◊.
