I love the charatcer deisign and animaion style. It really feels like a western comic book come to life with the anime feel.
Yoshihiko Umakoshi (My Hero Academia, Heartcatch Pretty Cure) being the animation director only makes it better.

That explains it.
To be honest, with stuff like One Punch Man, and My Hero Academia, I feel like Japan does Western Super Hero stories better then the west.
That's because they remember that these guys are supposed to be heroes. Stan remembers too, since he's the oldest of the old school, so it's not a shock that the combination leads to good stuff.
One Strip! One Strip! So any news on this. I was just watching the trailer again, and guess what?
It's still awesome.
One Strip! One Strip!just checking in to see if that preview was still hype.
...
yep. still hype.
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.Seems like your run of the mill superhero story.
One Strip! One Strip! This is true.
I admit, I'm looking forward to this. Add Stan's old school style with Japan's more idealistic attitude towards Super heroes, and we should get some good stuff I think.
I like that dude who looks like something of a Spider-Man Expy. He looks like he'll be fun to watch.
One Strip! One Strip!Just finished the first episode. It was okay though not much was explained and it doesn't look like something made by professionals. Will give it a few more episodes to see if I want to keep up with it.
Crunchyroll.
Watch SymphogearHuh. I was expecting something a bit less on the slow and moody side. Worth another episode, at least
I've seen it too now.
The art style is kinda odd. As was said above, it doesn't look like pro work, but I do feel like it's trying to closely replicate old school comic styles.
Starting off pretty slowly...and I didn't realize the song that from the first trailer is an actual song, but I did eventually realize I-Guy was the one playing it, probably from his suit.
Dude has his own them. I might like him.
One Strip! One Strip!I wonder if people who hear of this remember Heroman aka the last time Stan Lee got involved with anime stuff
I personally think of the Ultimo manga.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireYeah, not too keen on the premiere. I dig the Western comic art style, but everything else was a wash. The introduction dragged on for way too long, and overall somewhat lifeless. Would have benefited from being more straightforward.
Episode 2 up.
A little background on I-Guy, and a new view of the events of the first episode. Still nothing much to say.
Sky Show is still a nice tune. I'm listening to it right as we speak.
One Strip! One Strip! It's still a tad limp, and the pacing is plodding.
What was seemingly a shelved project is slated for next year.
New pv, with staff at the end for the anime:
The director of Mushi Shi being on the project spikes my interest.
