The trope isn't necessarily about hit points. It can also be about money, or experience, or something like that. It's about unconventional names for common point systems.
I think the problem is that I'm not sure if the trope includes point system that are unique in themselves, since then you don't have a standard name to change into something unique. In other words, you need to show what the points apply to, or what their effect is, rather than just showing some name of some kind of point.
