The score is probably because Prez nearly confesses he likes her at the very end.
By that logic they'd have several more losses.
Check out my fanfiction! The judge is fickle. Foreshadowing that the narrator is actually Fujiwara, her true mastermind nature revealed.
By that logic he lost because he didn't admit it. I like that logic a lot more. :)
Check out my fanfiction!Nah Shirogane lost, because Ishigami spend some quality time with Kaguya and he didn't
Chapter 56:
Moon gazing. The President looks so happy!
Kaguya prepared her assault carefully, but she didn't account for President special ability - namely that he becomes Zen as fuck while stargazing.
Also, dat foreshadowing.
Shirogane, you airhead ladykiller, you. I love how he comes off as a pickup artist except he actually does love the moon and stars.
Apparently he got some star trivia wrong.
Secret SignatureNothing is as all-consuming as someone geeking out over a favourite subject.
And again, I really don't agree with the scoring.
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah. What he said about Deneb should be about Vega instead. Seems weird of him to get them wrong. Especially those are relatively well-known star trivias.
Which reminds me of the Q&A in one omake where the author amusingly apologizes for presuming that he can write a war between geniuses. At least that's how I interpreted his answer.

Writing characters more intelligent than you are is very hard. The only thing you have over them is time to research what they think up in seconds.
Check out my fanfiction!I thought it was because those two can get pretty dumb in their conflicts.
Secret SignatureYeah, the interiew seems to poking fun more at how the "duel" chapters keep getting rarer and rarer and instead we got the two of them being lovestruck dorks.
I like how the battle was just canceled this time, because no one wants to deal with Fujiwara bets.
"You are the kind of man who beats women with logic!"
I'm with Ishigami on this one, that game needs serious debugging.
"The moral of the story: Marrying Fujiwara brings nothing but suffering"
Well, that's good to know.
They might not be as smart as advertised, but they're at least not that dumb that they'll accept Fujiwara's bet.
Ishi wins this one.
Check out my fanfiction! The idea of taking out spaces a player has landed on actually is pretty creative. And I loved Ishigami's critical review of the game.
Chapter out:
Kaguya's failure to achieve any sort of progress starts grinding on Hayasaka. I totally understand her, it's hard to watch Kaguya spinning wheels.
Hayasaka ability to lie is rather scary. I bet President will meet her at the school in the future and not even recognize her.
Hayasaka builds her own PCs and watches hydraulic press channel. Best girl is best.
Kaguya was so elated that she won, that she missed Prez saying he has someone he likes.
I wouldn't say best girl, since that's the other one, but she's sure up there. Still, she's scarily good at what she does. And yet, she's at her cutest when she stopped pretending.
Is it weird that I find the ending kind of heartwarming?
Check out my fanfiction!I'd watch stuff being crushed with her all day long. On the PC she built. What a dream.
I imagine Kaguya will realize what Shirogane said in some future chapter.
That's because it is heartwarming. Miyuki is a good kid.
My thoughts while reading the chapter:
Every dense rom com lead needs a Hayasaka. Or at least they would, but then they'd probably fall for her.
Wait, oh my god
Hayasaka is going to try and seduce the Prez
<cue incessant chuckling>
Some of the things shown in this chapter are especially hilarious to me because I've watched people do it IRL. Man. The checkout line approach. The please-teach-me. And pretending to be asleep (though Hayasaka is in the masterclass for faking it for 3 hours). Even her breasts were full of lies, and she still pulled it off. She'd have won that bet if Prez wasn't the target.
I also liked her at the end when her guard was down, teary-eyed and all. She's a sore loser just like Kaguya. D'awwww.
Interesting that they point out that the student council is getting dissolved soon. Hmm.

Wasn't it just that they graduate?
It's also rather easy to see if someone's faking sleep.
What I liked the most about it, it's that it shows that they're good friends despite occasionally getting into arguments like that. While it's mostly Kaguya being frustrated and ranting, Hayasaka doesn't exactly try to not goad her on even more. Which pulled her into it. That's kind of arguments go. Anyway, it's amusing seeing her getting the short end of the stick once in a while.
Check out my fanfiction!Student councils usually only last around one year. After that new members will be elected and a new student council will be formed.
Also in other manga I've read, usually 3rd year high schoolers are very busy with college preparations so they're discouraged from extracurricular activities.
Miyuki, Kaguya and Fujiwara enter senior year.
Yeah, I remember that stuff about third years being discouraged from extracurricular activities. It's not a hard rule, though.
It would be interesting to see if we get an honest-to-goodness confession before the dissolution, because right now the student council is our bumbling duo's main avenue for communication.
Darn, Hayasaka is scarry! I have feeling, if she had month, this manga would go full NTR...
I've not agreed with scores before, but this is probably the most obvious.
I found it a nice chapter. Something that seems like actual bonding of some kind between Kaguya and Ishigami. First time she stuck around long enough to turn his misconceptions around. Well, mostly. Shiro helped a bit in the end. And Fujiwara asked a very important question.
