It's taken me an astonishingly long time to realise that the big governing body in the solar system is called EA. This can only mean one thing...cyperpunk is upon us, and morally bankrupt video game companies have conglomerated the world.

they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobWe've purchased the Verne DLC, for only $24.99.
Stay tuned for the upcoming Headcrabs item pack, for $3.99, the Grunkle Stan character, for $5.99, and the Teleporter add-on pack for the low, low, price of $7.99.
You know, if TBG was a show, we'd have a "Sarah Says 'Oy Compilation" within five episodes.
Today marks a new low in his career. He must really feel down in the dumps.
After some discussion, we've come to the conclusion that the Kobayashi Maru, at least as we know it from the Trekverse, does not exist in the TB Gverse.
What exists is the Infinite Jest, a test that the entire crew goes through. It involves the ship heading into a massive black hole, where the only certainty is that they'll go through never-ending pain. As such, the test is less about dealing with failure, but seeing how the crew chooses to escape and what (or whom) they're willing to sacrifice in order to do so.
Who the hell came up with that scenario, and are her initials H.Q.
Shrug, no.
Almost forgot, but in honor of our first 150 posts, have some Hamilton mixed with good ol' Star Trek 09.
Two great tastes that taste great together!
If I had that kind of power, I'd have dropped a meteor on your house ages ago~Considering we have a talking sentient rock, 40K weapons, a floating girl with psychokinesis, a firebender with a brainlaser, and whatever the hell Cap'n Jojo is, I'd say we've long ago passed that point.
It's only just now occurring to me how incredibly useful it is to play a character who is obstinately ignorant of the reality around him. If ever I fall behind or lose track of what's happening, it would be completely in-character to say that Zim was never paying attention to begin with! It's so ingenious I wish I'd thought of it.
Lol, I'll remember that for backup chars
Mind you, a little too much of that, and it might get annoying for the players. Never a good idea for a character to annoy folks on the wrong side of the fourth wall.
@Lizard Of Aus Guy's current plan is to shove Gir into a duffel bag full of tools to try and smuggle him along on the mission. Is it fine with you if I do that?
Sorry guys, after a long bit of deliberation I've decided I'm going to drop out of the game. I just can't muster the enthusiasm to post and I eventually decided it's because I can't muster the enthusiasm for the game itself. I apologize for this and I just hope I can find something that does capture my interest.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Go right on ahead with that there.

Nodrog, I'm gonna have a NPC Doctor react to Harley. And it's gonna be someone pretty cool.
Dr. House?
Took the words out of my head, Cabal.
I actually had another idea BUT.
Dr. Octopus?
Just as long as its not Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, and Dr. Howard (Three Stooges)
Would the J entity have told Harleen enough for the white clouds to be familiar to Harley?
No, they're unfamiliar to everyone.
So there was a brief discussion in chat about how the Earth Alliance is organized, and it seemed like a good idea for it to go up here for reference, so enjoy your copy/paste!
the structure of the EA
it bases itself off the old UN system in that I'm only saying that so I sound like I know what I'm talking about
its led by a council of nine members: six from earth, three from outer-space colonies
this council is the highest EA authority
they lead over a variety of sections that act as sort of separate organizations
Colony Development and Construction
Earthly Research and Development
The Special Intelligence Bureau (or just the SIB)
and on and on
(Q) who runs the Navy, these guys or some admiralty?
the military, which in the EA is split between the EA Patrol (space cops), the Armed Forces and the SIB each have their own leader, but they all obey the council
the Navy is led by an admiral, but he answers to the council
each organization has enough authority to enact plans that involve their own areas
but they're encouraged to only put plans into motion that have the support of other organizations
for example
suppose colony development wants to build a colony in the orbit of Jupiter
but this colony could offset one of the moons or maybe cause an issue with the Jupiter people
so the colony development people work out a plan with Extraterrestrial Matters, Science and Research and any other necessary divisions
and they send a plan up to the council tat not only has the colony development's stamps, but also extraterrestrial matter's stamp, science and research's stamp, etc
the council members all are extremely knowledgeable so they analyze a plan and they only approve if they feel every organization that needs to look at it has taken a look at it
so for example you can send a plan without having anyone look at it
but if any of the council members go 'shouldn't underwater housing have their stamp on this' they'll send it directly to underwater housing and if underwater housing goes 'hold on this plan would destabilize the environment' then you are in trouble my friend
Now where's my cookie?
