That definitely'll fall into the category of Like You Would Really Do It. Also, he has both hands in the trailer, doesn't he? Sounds like it definitely falls into Foregone Conclusion territory.
they won't actually kill the baby but they might put it in a threatening situation just to scare the audience
New theme music also a boxWell The Flash did save a bunch of babies from a falling building. I doubt it's gonna be played that funny though, intentionally or not.
It’s been about five years since the first one came out since that also came out around Christmas. What's it currently tracking at?
The Japanese trailer is out and has a lot of new footage.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I might check it out since the one for The Flash was so over the top and funny. Haha.
Looks like Kordax is going to get at least as much screentime as Darkseid got.
Seems like there's not much excitement for the new movie as I said—which considering the movie's success is a pretty big drop off.
New trailer is out. Looks like Thomas Curry is going in the fridge. https://youtu.be/4cSkHPW-MPE?si=loDGdPdplVYUWWYB
Can't say that'd be surprising unfortunately.
It does indeed imply someone else pulling Manta's strings as well by the way.
Saw the movie today.
It holds up quite well, though having the absolute final moment in the entire DCEU continuity being Orm putting a cockroach on a burger and eating it wasn't the most dignified way to go out.
Wishing I hadn't seen that post right now. That feels like a troll right there that they did that. Considering the second end credits stinger of Blue Beetle was that show that the uncle liked and his "Ah that's sexy" line, that's a surprising low right there though that they knew this was the last movie in the DCEU and they just didn't care to change that.
Also, funny how on the DC thread I mentioned the Aquaman one not having any new posts yet and then there's finally one today. Haha.
*2. Honestly, as I said in the Dc topic, there are two scenes that can be interpreted as the ending.
Aquaman giving his speech, and the cockroach scene, if we accept the first one as the true ending, then it's a more or less decent ending.
Yeah I responded to you on there. Don't feel like reposting that here right now.
I mean at least Blue Beetle aside from being a really good movie also wasn't ending a film continuity on that note.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with the stinger. It's just a funny twist to the closing scene that builds on the previous scene at the island.
And obviously they didn't write it knowing it was going to be the very final thing ever in the DCEU. (Which given I think there's going to be more Peacemaker(?), presumably not technically true anyway)
Fitting the last scene of DCEU is a punchline. :(
Mileena MadnessIts just a harmless joke, don't make it more than it actually is.

Every Hero has his own way of eating yogurtEven he's pinning some of the blame on James Gunn announcing his reboot prematurely.
It's symbolic though. The DCEU really was a joke. lol
Well yeah, why bother watching a movie of an establish universe when said universe is going to end?

No its not. It's just a harmless little comedy bit.
Saying it's symbolism is just purposely looking for and making up shit that isn't there.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Just because it wasn't intentional doesn't mean it's not symbolic
Also it's fun that the cockroach eating scene is the last scene of the DCEU.
Well when your reaching for anything, anything can become symbolism.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."sometimes imagery is just too good not represent something
New theme music also a box
Yeah but everyone keeps believing or joking that it could happen.
Like it obviously won't but that won't stop people speculating.
