Actually that makes sense. In fact it's how I always felt that cosmic beings should be- if they represent universal forces next to which we are insignificant, why do they look and sound like us, much less care about us? It's just a minor avatar, that's why.

@Emily: Shouldn't Mindseye notice a guest in her apartment is under psychic invasion? Dragon Man might need help getting that thing out (assuming Drakon can't help).

She is asleep. Let's say she's aware of it, but only subconsciously, and can't do anything about it until she wakes up or Drakon calls for her through their link.

Alrighty, I'll work on a post tommorow and I'll have to pass some bits by Sijo. (We work together on one super post in Google Docs?) Just to clarify a few things then:

*Any idea what kinda pacts even Eris might grudgingly have to acknowledge that a mortal organization can invoke?
*So we're a yes on Dragoknight "This smell like what you think a Hellscape should smell like" with burning flesh of traitors. "The smell of burning flesh was particularly... treacherous."
*Would a sealing circle on Eris need to prevent her from absorbing some sort of energy from the outside, drain her of energy she is producing eternally or both?

That's tricky. Given she also serves, her namesake, the goddess Eris. I think she would have to acknowledge any kind of pact by Zeus with mortals. Also any kind of pact made by the goddess of justice Thetis.

Sure! love that line. I wish I had thought of it.

I'm think it would be the later. The energy is self sufficient but I imagine it would haywire it.

Now, with TALOS. Topaz will call Emerald, who will call Dragoknight, who will call the Commander. Now Topaz isn't exactly high on the TALOS friend list, she's killed at least one Joker-type villain* and she might be lower on the priority list but she's not gonna stick around after she calls them to take Eris.

*A highly dangerous villain who, for one reason or another, could not be stopped or contained for good.

Hey there S Ijo. I was wondering if you could allow me a slight retcon. Instead of Eris being a servant of Eris, she would be Eris in human form.

There wouldn't be any changes on power level. I just though it would be more interesting that way.

Hmm. Since the character herself never gave any inkling of being human, I suppose it could be allowed. But you will have to go edit her character sheet accordingly first.

Btw GOA says he wants to drop your character in TALOS' hands and let them handle her. If you agree, I can pick up things from there.

Made changes to Amethyst's power-set, more in line with his original draft and giving him the weaknesses I had planned.

Hey gang, once again sorry for the slow posting. In the past few days I have been: busy; without electric power; ill; and oh yeah raising a new kitten. It's quite time-consuming.

Anyway I hope tonight's post will help inspire some of you to post again. Also I hope to post again tomorrow. Oh and ideas are welcome... like, if enough people want, I could do the "musical episode" now.

I'd be okay with the musical episode now, but only if the majority's in favor of doing it now. Personally, I'd like to make sure everything is settled, but I'm up for it whenever.

Yup. After discussing his name in the Spandex Skype chat, I decided to name him Figaro after Pinocchio's cat (although its colors are reversed, eg. it's white with black markings.)
