Group 1

What remaining wolves and bears were left from the ridiculously unexpected massacre cringed back instinctively as soon as they saw the group head towards them, their bravado in their alternate forms severely limited from all the crazy shit they saw happen to their team mates, most of which were now either severely injured or outright killed. Of course, this hesitation was just enough for a one-armed redhead with a mental disorder to go ahead and jam his bone into another druid's throat due to him trying to him then smashing against the barricade, the attack slamming straight through into the brain. The unfortunate transforer's body slid down in a crumpled pile while Shirou continued to double tap the corpse.

Tali's extremely futuristic equipment was more than enough to literally erase her target's head once it came close enough in a blind rage from all the lifeless friends it gained, the body morphing in midair to spill gobs of gore and blood everywhere in a visceral spray. Scott would find that the fact he was speaking right next to a blinded bear to be a very bad thing since it gave the thing a general location of where the guy was, trying to flail at the jumping Canadian. It was probably for the best that the claws had missed just enough to not disembowel the reckless guy- though Scott would feel a tugging motion as his flapping shirt hem was caught on the points of the paw and then his whole body flung towards the wall. Still, his wild sword swing was enough to cut off an ear and quite a bit of skin, which caused the soldier to roar in excruciating agony.

Lucina would find an opening to take if she was feeling risky enough to jab her sword through the ursine foe that was lamenting its semi-scalping. Of course, if she chose to wait it out longer, she would find the bear turning back into a man- one that looked like a craggy old man dressed in leathers with a misaligned nose and a bleeding stump for an ear along with facial burns inflicted from the kamikaze clone. Slowly as to not invite further attacks, the battle-worn man went down on his knees with his arms above his head. A mixture of fear and hatred floated above his face along with the sense of loss as he heard none of the snarls of his comrades, the implication he was the only one left a bitter pill to swallow. "...I... surrender." A voice that sounded like he was gargling gravel resounded out, with just a hint of barely-hidden caustic quality thrown in. "What... are your demands?" The last few words were all but spat out, eyes blearily gazing upon the offenders while trying to regain clarity.

Group 2

The tank, being as banged up and on its last legs as it were (no pun intended) could scarcely defend itself from the barrage of attacks that went and targeted one of its many weak points- this time aiming for the joints of the legs. Unlike most of the places found on said vehicle, the moving bits had to have a bit of room to actually maneuver and thus couldn't be as heavily armored as the other places. Ami's wind blades would continue to shave at the thing, doing not a lot of damage but just enough to dent the gatling gun enough so that the payload couldn't be fired from the muzzle. A few of the rivets fired by Delta bounced off the legs themselves though quite a few managed to jam themselves directly into the joints, a sort of heavy metal groaning sound blaring out as sparks flew.

Maimed and handicapped as it were, the walking tank could not handle what was next to come: a rocket propelled at high speeds towards a place that probably didn't want foreign explosive materials shoved inside of it. Coincidentally enough, there was a hole in between two spread open legs that was just wide enough to fit in the high speed oblong object without much trouble.

Upon impact, a great flower made from fire and brimstone bloomed forth from the vehicle's open wound, the fire and pressure wave spreading out towards its innards to create an anomaly that was like a bag of popcorn being microwaved. Lots of popping and crackling sounds as the the box of death seem to bloat, furthered forward by its own engines destroying themselves from the heated impact. Trails of smoke began to leak out from the object before the underside of the thing did one final great explosion, flinging the roach-like thing far off into the distance in a trail of destruction.

If it weren't for the fact that the outside of the thing was so sturdy and shock absorbent, deadly metal shrapnel would have been flung every which way. As it was though, Group 2 would get to see the metal rectangle fall down towards the battlefield and squish a few red-faced commanders shouting curse words at their soldiers for not being suicidal and stupid enough to kill themselves off for the greater good. With that said and done, the falling wreckage of the armored weapon would be enough to spark a few brain cells from some of the marginally smarter troops to send out a scouting unit towards the general vicinity of the weapon's first appearance.

"Right uh... so now that that's over with, I recommend you guys skedaddle before being caught up by the army search parties now heading your way due to how you dealt with that thing and how it squished a few of their commanding officers. Will's nervous voice rang from the radios once again, all but urging them to continue on their way while worrying about the negative possibilities. "Just keep on heading the same direction that I've told you guys earlier, though we can't know the location of Rook's artifact, we can see that there's a perimeter of sorts a few miles away from your location. Though there's not a one hundred percent chance of it being your target, it's still a possibility so make sure to check it out if you can."

Group 3

With all the general chaos happening along with the death and murder of the magic users, the animated armors were now moving a lot more woodenly and all but flailing around in an attempt to hit the targets. One of the few surrounding wizards was even shot in the knee by hot plasma, sending him to a collapsed heap of howling consternation. Between the demoralized mages and the collapsed dinosaur, there was now only token resistance before even that pattered out.

The spokeswoman for the defeated group was that disarmed witch which was glaring at the group, having scrambled for her weapon when the blonde clone suddenly disappeared from view. Now properly holding her focus once more, the angry young woman was all but glaring daggers at the group while mentally weighing her options. "What does it take for you people to let us leave with our lives?" Though her arms were shaky from nervousness, the young recruit was definitely not down and out by a long shot. Still, due to her being so young, she would probably do something rash and stupid if she didn't get her way.

Toriel - Team 4, Theater

The base could not be found, and from the looks of things, it would not likely come to them. If they are this engrossed in war, surely they would understand that a group of drifters, she was quite certain that some of them were not noncombatants, need to be somewhere. She turned back at the ceiling and asked again, "Is anyone in these armies willing to reason with us?" She did not expect a confirmation, but one cannot be too sure what they are really dealing with.

Lady (Team Two)-Explosions are cool

Lady could not help but smirk as the stubborn tank started all but coming apart at the seams before blowing up and flying....right into the two armies and squashing a couple of important looking people. Oops.

"Oooooook, I think it's time to go people! If you wanna stick around and face down a bunch of angry solders, have fun, but I will be taking Will's advise."

With that, Lady took off running and, once she crossed the street, would wait for most of the team before continuing, looking around for this perimeter Will mentioned.

Saint Walker - Team 3

This was far from Saint Walker's ideal scenario; experiences with the other lantern corps had taught him that sometimes violence could bring peace further down the line but he still despised it. And yet, that was the way this had gone. With most of the resistance gone, he saw an opportunity to end it without absolute violence.

The Blue Lantern flew down and approached her slowly.

"We did not come here to take part in your war, although I sincerely hope for its peaceful conclusion. We need only to find our way through the warzone unscathed."

As he spoke, he focused the blue light of hope on her and attempted to search her mind for a construct that would sooth and calm her, creating it between them.

Tali - Team One - The Beasts

There was a certain grim satisfaction in that moment when the enemy broke and the tide turned. It was something shared across species, in different ways. On her sentry drone's camera, Tali saw one of them trying to surrender and she raised up her open hand in the human signal for a halt, keying open her comms as well.

"Cease fire!" she said, "Hold your fire! We've won."

She kept her shotgun up and aimed at the nearest wolf. Only a few left now, too few to force the entrance to the kitchen if they still tried a rush, and it looked like all her teammates outside, except for the copy of Naruko, were still standing.

"All of you, stay where you are and get down!" she snapped at the remaining wolves. They obviously understood her, how else had they known to cover their eyes for her flashbang? "We don't want any more trouble, but we won't take any chances!"

Delta - Group Two / The (Former) Skirmish

Delta landed with a thud, jumping and rolling off of the tank at the last moment to reach safety. As she approached Conan to pick him up again, she saw him vanish - it was a 'snapback', as she recalled from that man back at the garage who had vanished. She fell to her knees and punched the ground once with her left gauntlet, letting out an anguished roar. Still, if she considered it, he would have been safely returned to his home, so in a way she had done her duty of protecting him. In a sense, this was the best fate he could have hoped for.

A Snowy Day In December
Takao knew this was going to be his only chance. Years of being alone, not even getting to hold a girl's hand, and now came his one shot at romance before his high school life ended. He sat by himself, waiting with bated breath for the arrival of Minako. Oh, Minako, her raven hair and pale skin were like the finest art to him. Takao had no idea whether it was love or pity that drove her to date one like him, but he wasn't going to question it. He was going to give it his all!

He sat there on a bench, waiting in this secluded park to finally meet up with the love of his life for the first time. Next to him were two cups, containing hot chocolate. Not only did they fit perfectly with the season, he made them himself! He! Not anyone else! If a girl wouldn't fall for a man who could make sweets, what kind of girl would they be?!

His internal rambling was cut short when she entered in all of her glory. Her hair was cut to ear length, her bob cut both messy and perfectly manicured at the same time. Her demure figure pierced his eyes through the light snow, and he knew that this was going to be the moment that he remembered for the rest of his life. She was simply divine, her scarf covering her mouth and making her simply...moe. He knew that he would have to give up his moepig bullshit anime if he wanted to get with her, but he would sacrifice anything to be together.

Standing up, picking up the cups and confidently striding towards her, Takao didn't feel the same panic that usually came when he tried to interact with women. Right then and there, he only felt the utmost determination. At least, until he saw that Minako was staring at him like something had gone terribly wrong. He felt something warm breach his mittens. Takao quickly reverted to terror as he realized that he had somehow had grabbed the cups upside down.

Now, the real hero of the story was a good distance away, snickering to herself with demonic glee. She had, in a term that she had picked up around here, "totally owned" that kid. She didn't even see the girl, she just assumed he really liked hot cocoa. Laid against the stump of a tree in the snow, she felt entirely content. The people in the outside world were so overly concerned with minor things like spilled drinks, broken flower pots, or overturned cars that it was almost too easy to ruin their lives.

Seija got up to leave, her boots crumpling the light snow cover beneath her, when she spotted a familiar face. Considering where she was, familiar faces were one of the few things she didn't want to see. At the end of the path stood a woman, a little older-looking than her, her hair a silver grey and her eyes a similar color. Knife Maid. Of course, she knew what her name really was, she figured that forgetting it would piss her off.

The amanojaku mimed a curtsy, saying to her "Well, if it isn't a pleasant surprise! I'm shocked that your lady thought you were old enough to go out by yourself!" Knife Maid, her steely countenance unchanging, replied "Funny, Ms. Kijin. I thought that you would have better things to do than to harass children. Though, considering how you immature you act, maybe I shouldn't be." She took a step forward, her long-laced leather boots incongruous with the decidedly more modern winter clothing. Seija didn't let it get to her, but she realized that Knife Maid here was acting a lot more open with how aggressive her movements were. A little hesitancy crept into her voice as she asked, "Do you want to make a scene that badly? There's a nice copse of trees at the end of this path, I'm sure that we can fight there instead."

Suddenly, Seija felt her head grow cold. Behind her was her knit cap, impaled onto a tree with a silver knife. Her horns saw daylight for the first time in weeks. She turned back to her front, but Knife Maid had moved to right in front of her, another knife pointed in her general direction. "No, right here should be fine. Nobody will have time to notice you were gone, including yourself."

Seija, Group 4 - Not a Snowy Day
Seija had a nice comeback in mind, but Knife Maid was correct. The one thing she didn't have was time. In an instant, it suddenly became a lot warmer as she found herself in the least well-maintained movie theatre in existence, surrounded by strange folk. Humans, one short, one tall with a stupid haircut, one even taller, two more in strange, concealing clothing, a giant machine with arms and legs...and a goat.

Her mouth was agape as she stared forward, and she couldn't come up with much more than a dull "What."

Susan, Group 1 - The Former Beasts
Susan watched the group completely slaughter these wolves with wide eyes. It certainly seemed that Will was right, some of them were definitely the "correct" versions if they could tear through monsters with such speed and grace! She honestly felt like clapping to congratulate them, but considering how scared the survivors were she didn't know if that would make them bolt or not.

Now it was time for negotiations, which was a spot where she knew a thing or two. She glided forward, not paying much heed to the remaining wolves as she came up to their newly acquired hostage. Susan landed a good distance from the man and waved, saying "Hi there, I'm Susan!" Introductions like this were a good way to ingratiate yourself to former enemies. "I think all we need right now are a few questions answered, really. Unless someone else has something in mind," she said as she eyed the rest of her group.

"Anyway, do you think you can manage that? We'll even feed you if you answer."

Lucina, Group 1

Seeing Scott go flying on the end of the blind bear's paw gave Lucina a moment's pause, her eyes widening in dismay before she readied her own strike. As luck would have it, however, her delay gave the enemy a chance to surrender, and the taguel girl lowered her sword and came to a halt.

"Scott, are you hurt?" She called out, moving to stand beside the kneeling soldier, Falchion held in front of him - not pressed against his neck, but still close enough to make the implication clear. Susan emerged to speak to the prisoner, but Lucina was somewhat more to the point.

"We're looking for something your forces captured." She said to the man, her voice stern and only a little breathless. "A... a mobile base, hidden from sight. Tell us where we may find it and our quarrel with you and yours will be over."

Now that the battle was over, Mitsuhide sheathed his sword and approached the sorcerers’ spokeswoman. “Were it up to me I would have given you all a quick, honourable death and moved on,” he told her, “but I believe that my companions would disagree.” He looked back at the rest of the group — well, ‘looked back’ isn’t the right description; he practically glared at them, challenging them to prove him right.

Tenshi Hinanawi - Team 3

Tenshi had nothing to contribute on the matter, so she contented herself with leaning back onto a keystone she had just summoned and letting others do the talking for now.

Talk about whether or not to kill them brought back memories of the havoc she had wrought in Gensokyo. Yeah... a slight miscalculation on her part, that. Someone was supposed to have stopped her before she totalled the place. It was suddenly a whole lot less fun when only rubble remained of the village and visible fissures split the forests.

All in all, she had had her fill of slaughter.

Phew, that was that over. Reimu was gonna ignore the part with the beasts turning into humans for now. They had a source of information now, which would help a lot. Ah, but there was another important thing too. Spawn's recent acquisition of a sniper rifle hadn't gone Reimu amiss, and the handguns she was packing right now were as useful as a wax fireaxe. And like they said, when in Rome, pack a Beretta. Reimu had a look around on the various dead druids (recently dead bodies had stopped phasing her when she was fifteen), picking up whatever weapons she could find, then returned to their new prisoner. The others had already started questioning him, which was good.

"Also, we'll need your weapons, beastman," she said. "Don't want you shooting us in the back as we leave, y'see."

Elesis (Team 2 - Now Crossing: Victory Street) - Victory (Street) is Ours

The increasing amount of noise behind her caused Elesis to stop running almost instantly. For a moment she did not dare turn around, as she had the feeling she knew exactly what was happening behind her. A feeling that was proved right the moment Lady turned around instead and cursed loudly. There was a massive amount of noise behind her, leading her to believe that the tank was somehow not completely destroyed anymore.

She turned around, evidently enraged... just in time to see how the large structure was sent flying away through a series of violent explosions.

At that point any traces of anger on her face vanished, leaving only a moderately surprised expression that did not last for long either. In a matter of moments, she was already on the move alongside the rest of the group. However, unlike the rest, she was not looking for their destination; the rest could handle that. She was primarily focused on two things. The first was, once again, Carmilla. Elesis was still incredibly wary of her and refused to take her eyes off her for prolonged periods of time. And the second one was any potential dangers in the environment around her. They had been almost caught off guard by the walking tank, and that was something that she would not allow to happen again if she could help it.

Group 4

"Nay, while I believe that it is fine to defend ourselves if push comes to shove, we shouldn't also be overly zealous and start conflicts with the enemy." A deep bass voice rumbled out in the surrounding theater room before the speaker made itself known, a rather large and heavily muscled brunette man garbed in vestments that looked a combination between the white robes of a clergyman and the plate armor of a templar knight. Especially eyecatching was the giant metal cross carried upon his back that actually prevented him from entering the room itself without actually having to awkwardly turn sideways and shuffle inside, his head just barely clearing the top of the entrance's door frame.

Giving a short look around the assorted people that looked downright exotic to his eyes, the religious bruiser gave a slight hum. Honestly, if it weren't for the fact his adventurers semi-regularly took him to different sub-realms and alternate dimensions, the priest would be rather alarmed right now. As it was, he simply treated the spontaneous body-snatching as yet another leg of his journey before cautious approaching the meeting spot the others were in. "Greetings, fair fellows. I am Jeda Roxford, a humble Priest. I hope we can work together to resolve this predicament." Giving a kindly smile towards the others that significantly softened up his previously hard and rugged jawline, the bear of a man turned to regard the roof where the voice of the speaker "Will" came from.

A few seconds of staring later, the nervous voice of the unseen adviser rang out once more, this time even more flustered than ever considering the recent weird arrivals that came onto the scene and the incoming problem that was moving steadily closer to the fourth group. "Oh er... greetings... yet more new people we weren't ready for, um." A brief and awkward silence came out, interspersed with brief bouts of shuffling papers, frantic keyboard typing, and muffled curses in the background before the call went active once again. "You shouldn't try to reason with anyone on the battlefield until you're sure you can't be shot at, sadly. Things are in a right mess around these parts and all the kinder people have gone and gotten themselves killed. It's best if you can rough a few people up and catch some captives, unsavory as the means may be."

"Hrm, a most... unsavory situation this is then." Jeda murmured, looking rather down at the prospect of imminent and senseless violence. Still, the man had experienced enough of that in the past to be able to function through such conflicts. "How-" Just before the man could say more of his statement, what appeared to be the sounds of clattering sounded in the distance before a considerable explosion rang a little too close for comfort, shaking the windows and rattling the walls. "Ah, so our safe-zone has been been breached then. I suppose this goes to show that there's no such thing as a perfect guarantee in any situation. Everybody should get ready, we have to been entangled in the situation."

"A stray shot from the artillery has actually punctured into the veil that's inhibiting people from exploring this particular building. Luckily, the battlefront is a long distance away from here so the only people close enough to check out the place would be battlefield deserters or scavengers who loot wounded or dead soldiers. Radar indicates that a total of twelve individuals are making their way towards your base as of a seventeen seconds ago and their ETA is suggested to be in around two minutes. Normally this would be a bad situation but this might be the perfect opportunity for you all to get detailed information on what's happening outside your borders. Be careful though." On that cheery note, the connection cut itself off once more.

While Will was expositioning, Jeda was busy peering through a window in the hall, seeing distant military figures approach in a manner that was decidedly non-regulation, their outfits raggedy and bloodied. A closer look for the Priest and any who peered through the one way glass panes would show that the men in question were unshaven and leering, looking at the theater as though it were a treasure trove of sorts. One of them even had a bayonet that had the head of a man wearing an officer's cap staked upon it, raised high and shaken around to the point blood was still dripping out to the cheers of his fellows. "Ah, we are to deal with the traitors then. Any plans, comrades?" Jeda's tone was even, much too even to be truly casual. The macabre display had no doubt sickened the large Saint.

A collision with a very solid wall. A strangely nostalgic feeling, though he didn't really stop to think why. He was far more busy flopping to the ground and groaning in pain, having learned just how quickly and strongly were-bears can throw sword-wielding Canadians. His ears caught Lucina's worried question, and he couldn't stop the small sense of accomplishment at the fact the was worried about him. Rolling over, the young man managed to groan out an answer. "Yeah, I'm totally fine. I've had a lot worse than that."

Staggering to his feet, Scott snatched up his sword and went to run back into the fray; Only to stop short. The were-bear guy had surrendered. Just like that. And none of the others had even dropped any loot!

When the man asked for the group's demands, Scott stalked over to where the others were standing and pushed past to grab hold of the man's shirt; The Power of Heartbreak held threateningly at his side. "Yeah, I've got some demands. Where's my loot?! We beat all these guys, and there isn't a single coin or drop! Just blood and stupid dead bodies!" He began shaking the soldier, shouting angrily. "I want my loot, damn it!"

She sighed to herself, knowing a peaceful option is out the window, but perhaps if some surrendered, they could tell them where they need to go. Then, another human walked in, introducing himself as Jeda Roxford, a priest of this world, reassuring the team. Suddenly, the artillery fire struck the building, but, thankfully, did not breach the room that they are in. And from said artillery fire, attracted 12 individuals, most likely meant to assault the theater.

She was initially shocked from the stray explosion, but started to regain her composure as the priest spoke out for ideas. She looked around and saw that they were probably capable of dealing with what she can assume are humans and she herself was no slouch in fire magic. She gave her opinion, "If we can help it, we have to leave at least one of them alive."

Ami - Team 2

Silly. She was being silly.

Ami Kuzuki was a magus, above any modern man. Ami Kuzuki was the only living daughter of the infamous Witch of Betrayal. Ami Kuzuki was troublemaker and a fighter.

So why, why, why was she so rattled by seeing people die? The honest answer would be because, no matter what she thought of herself, she was still a somewhat-sheltered teenager whose only experience with death was stories of her mother's ancient villainy.

Just soldiers, she told herself, in an everlasting war. The man from before must have known his fate. The commanders that had just been flattened by exploding pieces of the machine she'd just had a hand in destroying had probably deserved it.

This time, she didn't let her troubles show - even she was only barely aware of them as they sat on the edges of her mind. Only someone watching her quite closely would notice anything wrong. Her outward demeanour was as devil-may-care as ever. Ami made a show of yawning hugely and casually adjusted the large messenger bag she carried over her shoulder (it was a miracle that the damned thing was still in place after all that, really).

"Well, that wasn't satisfying at all," she grumbled.

"Come on,let's - Celaeno! - get going." And with that, Ami's angelic wings spread once more, and she took off.

Seija, Group 4 - The Theatre
Since the only one who seemed to react to her sudden existence was a disembodied voice, Seija was only growing more confused by the second. As unlikely as it was, did she just die? This place certainly didn't look like hell, though it smelled sort of close to it, and there was a distinct lack of fire anywhere so that seemed unlikely. Did Knife Maid somehow learn how to teleport people? She stood around for a few seconds, trying to glean any information from these strange people as they planned on how to kill others, but nothing was coming.

Eventually, getting sick of people ignoring her confused glances, she asked her question as politely as she could. "I have no clue what the hell is going on, so can someone tell me where I am? The sooner the better."

Team 1

"..." Looking askance at Scott like he was a deranged lunatic (which was somewhat right on the money coincidentally), the bearded geezer grunted before glancing at his dead team mates, his face gnarling into something that was as twisted as old wood in distaste. "...Go loot the people you killed then. They have guns and knives as well as other supplies." Outright looking murderously at the real life gamer with reddened eyes, the man briefly considered going out in a blaze of glory since the boy wasn't even giving him his dignity.

Still, he was a veteran of many a war and often outlived his idiot commanding officers to be able to become this old after being a soldier for so many years. What the druid said was true, most of the wolves had what appeared to be slightly oversized flintlock pistols, simple mass manufactured machine guns, and trench knives made from what appeared to be serrated teeth from some sort of large predatory creature of unknown origins. On the druid's hip was a cavalry saber resting in a glossy black-scaled sheath, the blade measuring around two feet tall. Reimu's words made the geezer turn to give her a share of the old stink-eye as well before all visible weapons on the group were slid onto a pile.

The trio of surviving wolves growled at Tali's words but nevertheless squatted down on all fours before shifting into a more human guise, their builds lanky and adorned in a more simplistic style as their leader's. Glancing at the few remaining people under his command, the old survivor bitterly swallowed before answering in a hoarse voice. "Fine, if you have questions, I'll answer. Keep in mind there's some stuff I ain't gonna give out even if you become violent like state secrets. Also no, I don't believe either me or my subordinates would like to eat what you have in store given what it smells like. We may don the skin of beasts but we aren't that in-tune with our wild sides." A look of revulsion came up on Beardy Mc Gruffguy's face as he gave Susan the old stink-eye after figuring out exactly what the meat had smelt like through the usage of his bear nose.

Lucina's questions made the man jerk back in shock, his mouth agape for a moment before an even mightier scowl appeared on his face. "Ahhh... so THAT was what you were after..." His face struggled and wiggled around for a moment, the worry on it evidently great as he fought between loyalty to his country and loyalty to his men. For a moment it looked like he would refuse to say anything, but then unexpectedly the druid spat out a glob of saliva before staring at the half-Taquel. "If you can take that damned thing away, the military might stop wasting countless amounts of lives trying to secure it... Damned politicians and scientists trying to play with things they don't know about."

His rant going on a for a full thirty seconds, the man offered a folded map over that showed exactly where to go with the sort of eyes that were half-mad. "Ain't nothing good will come from having this sort of technology for my country, so I don't mind if a group like yours gets their grubby mitts on it. Hell, it might even blow you guys up for me!" When unfolded, it would detail a couple routes that they could use to entirely bypass enemy ranges and sight lines as well as a large X shape outlined in the north-eastern direction.

Team 2

As the group of misfits with intense need for therapy marched on away from the buzzing hornet's nest of activities they stirred up, they would find that due to horrible planning and lack of all-around brains, their way was pretty much unobstructed for the next five minutes. That was when what appeared to be a swirling dome of energy appeared on the horizon, as tall as a two story building and flashing with a prismatic hue that put rainbows and strobe-lights to shame. Looking at it for too much would even give people a headache as well as blind them, and in some cases seizures like the twitching military-men thrashing around on the floor at the edges of the thing.

A much smaller conflict composed of the three same armies from earlier were trying to simultaneously inflict grievous injuries on each other via an intense fire-fight while at the same time trying to break through the barrier itself with sustained fire. The purple-colored side of the conflict even had a mobile artillery vehicle resembling a giant revolver made from regular sized Civil War era cannons that was being loaded up by burly men while spotters were firing at people attempting to either destroy or steal said vehicle with swiveling turret guns attached to the same frame.

Whatever was inside of the barrier definitely wasn't something run of the mill for sure, and judging by the desperation of all sides committing to the breaking of the shields, it must be rather important to all sides. As it was, the strobing light pillar was beginning to weaken to the point it dimmed greatly every fives of seconds, a blurry shadow of a rectangular vehicle showing up behind the lightscreen every now and then. The appearance of this only made the fervent soldiers fight that much harder, blowing each other's brains out while shouting glories to their own home countries. Due to all the noise and lights happening as well as the near single-minded pursuit going on, the ragtag band was not yet spotted by any soldiers.

"Hey, screw you Femboy!" Taking rather huge offense at the whole mention of "honorable death", the girl with a bob cut leveled a look that was full of salt and vinegar towards the bishonen samurai. One would think that if her hands weren't leveling a magical wizard staff at the group in a sort of security blanket like manner, she would have been flipping two birds off at the samurai. Saint Walker's explanation made her glance over at the alien for a moment before doing a double take and staring wide-eyed at the Blue Lantern with a sort of "o" shape forming where her mouth should be.

"...Oh my god, we're being invaded by star people just like in the movies!" Staggering backwards now that she could see the people she had briefly fought up close, the tomboy put her back up against the wall. "You ain't probing me! I don't know nothing cause I'm just a grunt!" Really, even her own comrades were giving the girl a stare of beleaguered "what the hell-ness" with some even doing a face palm.

"Forgive the girly, she's a bit daft and slow. Couldn't do anything else so she got shipped off to the military." The wizard that had shot his own knee remotely grunted from his slouched position, waving off the outspoken girl's protestations with a wave of his hand. "Anyways, you all definitely don't look like you're military... or even around these parts considering your clothes and abilities. I can't guarantee your safety one hundred percent because the place is a war-zone but... I have an an illusion scroll in my possession that should let you don the disguise of enemy forces. So long as you all don't attract attention to yourselves too much, you should be able to sneak on out of the warzone. Whatever you do, do not head to the west since that's where the fighting is extremely concentrated. Whatever's over there has everyone up in a tizzie."

It was obvious that the older and more experienced veteran was trying his best to get the superpowered freaks of nature to go away as fast as possible, even being prepared to divest a valuable magical artifact in the process. Whether this was guilt at shooting towards what appeared to be civilians or the fact he didn't want to anger an uknown group that had them in their mercy was something only he knew about. "Also, if we said we'd surrender, would the little blue guy stop mangling our golems? Those things cost a pretty penny... And they're coming out of our paychecks." A joke to lighten the mood, though the wizard was paying his full attention on the group like a hawk eyeing a tiger.

Team 4

"You're pretty much stuck on a journey accompanied by strangers you don't know for a long while, Miss.'' Will's voice blared from the radio yet again, in an attempt to appease the youkai but falling extremely short due to him lacking much tact. "Just think of it as a vacation... except you're homeless... and not in your own universe... and might possibly die if you perform badly in the dangerous missions and locales you'll be sent to. Um... I'll log off for now sorry." Sounding even more sheepish, the announcer hurriedly clicked off his method of telecommunication.

"Mm... I'm sorry, young lady but stealth is not an option at this point. Half the exits are aligned with a sort of alarm system from the warnings I've read plastered to the doors and will sound off as soon as we leave them. Something about fire exits and being used for emergencies only. The other exits lead right into the enemy line of sight... And they are not people I've wish to meet unarmed judging from their disposition." The priest murmured, his sharp eyes narrowed as he stared at the people coming closer. Bastion would find the roof to be a good place for him to rain plasma onto the soldiers, though his silouette showing up in front of the strong sunlight had gotten the the marauder's attention.

This brief point in shock was just enough for Jeda to mutter a quick prayer and gesture out with a shining palm, a beach ball sized orb of crackling golden energies floating leisurely a few feet in front of the befuddled traitors... before the thing ignited in a particularly strong flashbang that caused shrieks of pain to ring out in the distance, the men caught by surprise and all but blinded by the intense light. The group hidden in the theater would be much better off due to the dark tinted windows, giving them ample time to bumrush the group if they so wished.

*WHUNCH*

That was the sound of last armor getting its helmet stomped on by Mega Man. "I think that's all of them," he said, dusting his hands off and admiring his work. "I'm going to gather all of their guns," he called out to the others. "If anyone needs one, come and get one. I'll dismantle the rest later!" He then proceeded to try to pick up the dropped weapons from the armors.

Out from behind the corpse of the fallen Brachiosaurus, Jack-O' popped up with a wide-eyed look of apprehension on her.

"Is it over?"

After a very... informative rant from the female wizard, and a more helpful batch of information from an injured wizard, the bounty hunter suddenly became rather ecstatic and hopped away from the corpses, ready to take up the wizard's offer of a disguise.

"Thanks Mister! We'll take you up on that illusion scroll!"
