Suggestion: Boke And Tsukkomi Routine

My personal idea is

Opened.

I did note in the suggestion thread that this idea looks good. Since I pitched the initial idea that sparked this, I'll edit that post so it doesn't fall into a future crowner.

I like the combo, but I'd rather see the roles edited into the pics than have them as separate captions...that looks clunky.

I do not have the tools to do that and not make it look like a bad image macro.

If anyone has the tools and willing to do the work you have my blessing.

If I have time tonight I'll give it a shot.

Also I gotta ask. Does anyone know a reason why this trope isn't titled by the proper name for this? It should be Manzai, Manzai Comedy, Manzai Act, Manzai Dynamic or something to that effect. It kinda ruins my caption idea and the trope.

Ran the trope through the Wayback Machine...the first instance is back in '06 under that name. Whoever created it may not have known about the manzai name. Manzai may be more correct and succinct, but I think the current name is a bit more clear.

Its a really odd name for this, we are literally the only ones to ever use it anywhere.

I might make a repair shop for this when it opens up to rename or even split it between a Boke And Tsukkomi Dynamic between a pair of people in the work like say Haruhi and Kyon in Haruhi Suzumiya and a subtrope about actual Manzai Comedy acts which is the Japanese equivalent to doing Standup Comedy.
