Let's make a thing together! (collaboration)

I tried searching through the forums but there does not seem to be a definitive collaboration thread. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but otherwise...

Lately the blank page has been getting scarier, and I feel like I haven't made progress. I think a new writing friend would help - new ideas, new perspectives, and just someone to nerd out with over great writing and fun tropes. I'm not desperate to make a /thing/, but rather, I'd just like to be creative with someone else and see what comes out of it. Maybe it can be a full project that eventually makes money. Maybe we can do a couple chapters of a fanfic. Maybe we just critique each other or give each other deadlines. I just want to talk words with somebody, dammit!

If you're interested in writing with me... Lately I've been thinking about witches, shounen jump anime, ho yay, abridged series-style protagonists (eg deadpan snarkers), mood whiplash (comedy and darkness in the same series), and stuff. I like asshole characters sorting out their shit over romcom stories. I write about depression and suicide a lot but that's something that I'm trying to get away from, too, so maybe you can be a positive influence on me. Oh, I've completed a couple novels (a political fantasy, a coming-of-age story), and pay my rent with writing. I know that doesn't really guarantee any ability on my part, but anyway. I'm not looking for an adv lit roleplay here, I just want someone to create with.

If you are NOT interested in writing with me but still clicked on this thread and read this far, hey cool, do you have any collaborative experience? Success stories? Tips? Where'd you find your partner? I really have no idea how to find The One. I tried creeping around roleplay threads and nanowrimo forums but there's just so many people.

Hey, I'm definitely interested in collaborating, since I have oodles of free time and my own writing style is basically throwing things at the wall until they stick.Besides, I've been looking for someone to write with for awhile now as well. I'm up for whatever you have in mind!

Cool! If you want to post some of your writings interests or pitch a past project (whatever you're comfortable sharing on the interwebs to give people an idea of what you like to do), it'll help people match up with buddies! I don't expect this thread to last super long but maybe there's others interested in writing partners who can find someone here, too.

I too am looking for tropers to share my story ideas with or bounce ideas off. Glad to see that I'm not alone in this!
