That sounds like it's kind of missing the point. Mayoiga was the staff's love letter to crappy no-budget horror movies, right down to carefully animating its supernatural elements to look like bad practical effects (the tunnel sequence was a lovely take on dodgy miniature work, for instance, and they kept animating characters doing irrelevant things to get that 'bored extras wander into the camera's field' effect). If the manga's actually trying to play it straight, its author doesn't understand the work he's adapting.

What's precedent ever done for us?Both the manga and anime started around the same time. There likely isn't a plan for them to play out exactly the same, especially when one is still going after the latter finishes.
It's more they seem to be playing the everyone is crazy up cause no one has yet to die either. The shorter Jack even keeps the taller one in a cage and has a leash and collar on him.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession....That sounds like it's still trying to be a comedy, just in a different way
The backstories are more tragic from what I recall. Lovepon of all people apologizes.
Speedstars thing is solely about Mitsumune too.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I hope a satisfying ending in the manga.
Also, Lovepon * Mikage is my ship favorite.
Having seen the manga I can say it feels properly crazy unlike the anime which was too silly. Koharun and the Jacks are creepier and actually dangerous while silly grandma monster gets replaced with Mitsumune head covered in swords asking Hayato to save him.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
