Pokemon Sun/Moon/Ultra versions (contains spoilers)

I thought it was today.

Huh, I thought new news will be reveal in August 1st.

That's technically today in america because of time zones.

It's being revealed for everyone at the same time, for the East coast, it'd be at 9 AM tomorrow. For Japan, it'd be 10 PM on the same day.

So what do you think we'll get out of this, guys? Do you think we might learn about any of the starters' later stages this time? (At least their second-stage evolutions?) I've been anxious to see what they might be since they were first announced.

We're guaranteed to get them sometime before the game's release, but I don't think now's the time. Maybe come September.

I'm expecting at least two more new Pokemon, whether they be evolutions of prior reveals or new line's entirely, maybe finally find out what's up with the gyms and cities, and perhaps see the enemy team for this region.

I could see a few new Megas.

Probably elaboration on whatever the new gimmick is and a couple of new Pokemon.

Maybe some story stuff.

I'm expecting a few new pokemon and nothing else. If we actually get something beyond pokemon it'll probably be an explanation of the new mechanic. Conceivably confirmation that megas are still around and a new mega, as well

I want Mega Relicanth.

Considering the first real substantial thing we learned about ORAS was new megas, I doubt they want to dedicate much time to revealing any new ones in pre-release announcements if they haven't already.

Personally I hope we don't see them period til late to end game, but I guess we'll see.

How late did we learn about Fairies and Megas, when waiting for X/Y? I can't remember.

We learned about Megas and Fairies as early as e3 2013 I think, so yeah, I dunno about Mega Evolution being as much as a thing here.

Fairy was after they teased Sylveon and Xerneas' Type as being some big mystery. Megas were after everyone collectively shat their pants in response to Mewthree a new form for Mewtwo.

Didn't E3 just tease megas? I seem to recall that being when buutwo showed up, and they gave us a while to freak out about that. Fairies were even later

E3 revealed Fairy-type. Megas were revealed in August's Corocoro.
