Guess, like anything, it at least needed a thread to discuss it in.

Or, at the very, very least, somewhere for forumers to post their friend codes, and share monsters every now and then. Mine's 802008448869, currently using Athos, the Musketeer with the insane damage output.

As for those who haven't heard of the game: Essentially, a mobile RPG where, essentially, you slingshot the monsters in your team to pinball around the board, full of enemies, with each strike doing damage, with the enemies firing back during their turns. Each monster charges up a Strike Shot as the turns go by, which is essentially a special attack that depends on the monster. And if your monster bumps into the others in your team on its way, it'll trigger their Bump Combos, which are different special attacks that can trigger once per turn.

It's free to play, and fully playable without having to pay anything; you get several methods to earn the premium currency with in-game actions.

Also its design, I must admit, gets a little ridiculous at times, in terms of which monsters they use. In quite a, for lack of a better word, Japanese way. Rodan is turned into a golem version of his famous Thinker, other Reinassence artists get in (frequently R63d, because Japan I suppose) there's gods from just about every pantheon, there's even Wild West gunslingers, at least one Lovecraftian Elder God, the Three Musketeers and Richelieu himself get in as top-tier monsters, among others. I kind of finding charming, myself.

I saw the gameplay videos myself and it is quite fun. I will try it out someday. By the way, have you fought Izanami, the boss featured in the anime which is so hard that not even the voice actors from the anime playing the game can beat it? Or the boss is limited to the JP version?

Nope, I haven't tried beating her, and I doubt I will. I'm scared to even attempt anything at Extreme level yet. And hell, the Bonus stage on the X Awakens quest (which is supposedly just Savage difficulty) is beating my arse bloody. But I suppose I'll have to start soon enough; maybe I do have what it takes.

One thing I forgot to mention: Downloading it from the Google Play store doesn't really work outside the US, but I think the devs themselves uploaded the .apk file elsewhere so you could do it anyways. Online still works perfectly that way. Judging by the sheer amount of comments in Spanish on the Play store page, it's rather common.

I got the game today and it's very fun, but my pool of monsters is limited. Outside of starting monsters, I get only Beethoven, Saito The Survivor, Jormungandr Worldserpent and Lord Thundergriff as 5 star monsters. Then again, no one starts any mobile game with a large pool of monsters. Hopefully I can get more as I play.

The usual special events are good for that, both the longer ones for four stars and the short ones for five stars. Though be warned that the savage ones will need some good five-stars to beat.

Oh, and save your orbs for the hatcher. Always the golden ten shot, unless the hatcher is one of the legendary ones at the start of the month. That way you'll at least get one of the top tier beasts. Using orbs for other things... Do as I say, not as I do, and try not to.
