I have a story ideal in my head for years now, want to know everyone though abot it

My story begin during a space battle. Our main character is the captain of one of the ships( the Revenant) in that battle, his race used to control a galactic empire but after awakened an ancient race of robot and then go into war with them, their's empire collapsed and this is the final battle against the robot race main fleet. The main character's ship is task with carrying an experimental super weapon that could end this war. During the battle, after most of their crew had death, the main character and his second- in- command activate the weapon, create a black hole that suck in most of the enemy ship, but also the Revenant. When wake up, the captain wake up in a strange new world, a world with magic, and he must find his remain crew and a way home, mean while discovery this world secret and it connection to his old world.

Note:

- The main character race is spychic , can communicate with other being through their mind

- The surviving crew include the ship engineer, medic, a spychic specialist, the second-in-command and an old scholar/warrior.

- The main character race will not look like human

- Throughout their adventure, they will discovery many ancient rule that was built by thier people

- Some of the robot also survived, but been disconect from their sourse.

- The main characteristic of the main character is that he have a very strong sense of duty toward his men, but sometime doubting his own decision.

- The second-in-command will be a veteran of the war, he has been working as the main character second-in-command for a long time and the two are close friends, he is very loyal to the main character and always ready for a good battle.

- The spychic specialist is from the elite caste, she very prideful and arrogant.

- The medic is a bitter, sarcastic person, but always try to save any life.

- The engineer is the youngest, idealistic and hard working.

- The old scholar/warrior is a wise yet always distance himself from the other.
