Ren doesn't falter, he had quite the skill with writing and was more than able to attempt to keep up against the eight year old, even if this was not his native language... Yet?The boy deserves a bit of a prize or atleast encouragement so as it seems like Yoshiki might be starting to think Ren would annoyingly manage to keep up completely; he purposefully makes a bit of a mistake and then just stops... Tarou glances over to Aiko. "We can search together for now." he says, and pauses leaping up into a nearby tree for a vantage point. "Now..." he gives a nod to Tenzo as he catches up before he starts to focus, attuning his aura to the winds to try detecting for any malicious signatures around the immediate area.
Tavern
Yoshiki smiles brightly as he puts down his brush. "Wow! You're really good Ren-chan!" He says, not seeming to notice that he mixed up the honorifics just now in his excitement.
Date's Shop
Date laughs again. "Child, why are you apologizing? You've done no wrong." he says reassuringly.

Pol chuckles lightly before heading back into the kitchen again, leaving a small wrapped gift on the counter beside him, and looks over to Kotone, who sits at the counter next to Ren, and meekly orders a large bowl of ika somen.Sasuke bows his head briefly in acknowledgement of Tenzo's words of thanks, then follows them out.
Sonome Streets
Once outside, he shimmers into his small red fox form and starts sniffing at the ground as he lopes about, seeking out a particularly foul odor.Tenzo, Tarou, and/or Aiko may spot bright purple, heatless tongues of flame before them on the ground, explaining that he'll be scouting around for the man's aura, and that if he's found anything or needs help, he'll make it very obvious.

Sonome Streets
Tenzo begins looking around for any signs of danger. His aura is neither as wide nor as focused as Tarou's or Sasuke's, but it's nonetheless functional.

Not seeming to have any luck there, Tarou jumps down from his perch he nods to Sasuke and heads deeper into the woods, ushering Aiko to follow. He keeps his aura extended, searching as they walk the path through the trees to the remains of the shrine in the forest above.

Yoshiki giggles happily, a genuine smile on his face. "Thank you, Ren." he says, greatly enjoying Ren's company. "Hey, can we go outside? I want to go get some air." he says, looking very eager.

Inside the package, Yoshiki will find a golden silk travelling cloak, one that will feel comfortable no matter the weather, and will grow as he does. Pol pauses for a bit, before getting back to work.Kotone looks troubled when her friend says he’s bothered, and pets his arm, “What do you think is wrong?” Kotone’s hand shudders as she feels the pulse, ”By the gods…what was that…?”

Sasuke tenses up, his eyes and nostrils both widening, a growl coming to his lips as the pulse passes through him. He slowly walks back toward the tavern with his hackles raised and his senses alert. "I'm as free as the dust in the solar wind."
Tavern - Downstairs
"Well, then, if no one has anymore information, I shall start the search immediately." Tarou says with a nod, and heads out of the tavern, starting to patrol the village, starting with area near the shrine.
Yoshiki looks almost baffled as Ren copies his markings perfectly. Taking that as something of a challenge, he starts on another, this time using strokes from multiple kanji.
Date's Shop
"Really?" Date chuckles a bit. "Well, maybe I don't give myself away as often as I think." he finishes. "But, it's true. I've been wandering this land for almost 1000 years now in this form."
