The thread watchlist is seperate from the edit watchlist and only shows threads with new posts you haven't checked.

I never said they weren't separate. I was pointing out how neither of them are working (as in, won't let me add new things to them). And I want to know what's going on.

I haven't been using the site as heavily lately so I haven't played with the new site design much, but I'm guessing you're meant to click the "⭐Watch" on the upper right to add a page to your watchlist and click the same button later to unwatch? Nothing happens when I click, and my cursor doesn't even turn into a pointing hand when I mouse over the button. I'm running Windows 10 and Chrome 48.0.2564.116 m if it helps.
