I started. I like the character design.
Now known as Cyber ControllerI followed the link from MSPA and binged it. I like it. Bookmarked.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Ahh, ah... That latest sequence was super uncomfortable.
Purposely so, I'd say. Illustrates how squicky and traumatic it is for the characters.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."dat april fools
Haha, really didn't expect that. That was fun.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."So... classpects confirmed?
(Page of Breath, Mage of Time and Sylph of Life, btw).
Damn, missed the April Fools pages. Oh well, I've never read Homestuck, so I wouldn't have gotten it anyway.
Damn, I guess Seven is someone they're studying for reactions to more severe isolation? Or is this a completely different experiment? 9 being seemingly human and Seven somehow being aware of Tye and Z's exploits makes me curious.
The symbol is different too.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."I'm guessing 9 is one of the humans who have been gone through that experiment before and now lives an adult life with the aliens, like what Iris is probably heading to (not really confirmed on the Iris thing but that's what looks like).
No idea what's the deal with Seven though. But they update the Cast page with pictures of his childhood and it looks like a Tear Jerker.
Also I edited the first post and removed most of the Homestuck references, since that might weird some people out. The description should be enough for Homestuck fans to notice it's similar.
Ah, the cast page had not yet been updated when I last posted.
Interestingly, 9 seems higher ranked than Drs. Xaveria and Zerha.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."here's the April Fools update for anyone who missed it
Ooh, that is interesting re 9 and Seven's profiles! I came here to say look, we're being thought of here!
Also, I think it's clear now that it's Seven's mind-powers somehow which show us Iris on pages 79-83. Maybe these undefined mind-vision powers go some way to explaining their different treatment from the other kids.

There is a new update! It came with the April Fools one in my notifier, but if you go back to the main comic you can see it.
So... I guess those kids may have just climbed to a new level? And that director sounds ominous.
Looks like some characters are...
homestuck.
Very cool update.
Apropos of nothing, every time I look at Triss I can't help thinking she really looks like she's a member of the Nova Corps.
OK so if any of you know me you know that I fucking love Homestuck
And I heard that this was like Homestuck
And since Andrew Hussie himself gave a specific shout-out to it I though I would check it out now that I've finished rereading Homestuck after its completion.
6 pages in and I can already see the Homestuck influence. I like. It also psychically stole a line I was going to use, somehow, despite the fact that I haven't actually used it yet.
So far I've liked every webcomic I've read which starts with the main character examining their room. This is a positive sign.
OK I'm sorry if I mention Homestuck way too much in this post but with stuff like this it's hard not to
OK there's wearing your influences on your sleeve and then there's this. Not that I'm complaining.
Non-Homestuck related comment: This is an intriguing premise. This looks good.
My only complaint would be that I would have given a bit more time for us to get attached to Iris, so we feel as devastated as Tye does when she leaves. Similarly, give us some more time to establish what things are like for Tye in his room so his leaving it and finding all that stuff outside has more impact.
I am now caught the fuck up. Again, looking good, the only issue is that I think things moved a bit too quickly for me to get attached to the characters and their situation before all hell breaks loose.

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonDamn, I checked like 30 minutes ago...
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."

It's a new webcomic by Shelby Cragg and Adrienne Garcia, who have worked in Homestuck art before, and Amber Rogers, who works on Steven Universe. And recently they made an animation, with sound by Toby Fox (of Undertale fame).
The premise is the following: The Earth has been destroyed and three human kids are living in a space station, being raised by aliens. They are never allowed to leave their rooms and only communicate by chat client... until one day something happens and they get to leave.
Has anyone else read it? I've started reading it and it's really good, though the plot has only recently started moving. But the characterization seems strong.
