"I'm just hoping I get a Fire-type. I'm going to beat all the Gyms with it, even the one with the best Water Pokémon Trainer. I'll be the best Fire-type user ever!"

He put on a confident grin, looking completely sure of himself. He's dedicated, that much is for certain.

Surprised at being spoken to, Vladimir turned around to face the completely unsuspicious man.
"Oh, is it that time of the year again? I didn't even notice. Actually", he cocked his head towards the Throh next to him, "I've already been more or less voluntarily acquainted with my first Pokémon about a month ago. We're just here on vaccation to help us get along better."
Rubbing one of the bruises he had sustained this morning, he added:
"It's...uh...still a work in progress."

Behind Damien and Seth, a young man with unkempt hair rose from the ground. Finally, he had awoken. He was still swaddled in his sleeping bag, and as the line moved, he hopped to keep up.

"Haha, you guys are Pokemon trainers too? Outtasite." Chris said, hopping along.

"Hey, good luck on your journey." Professor Elm said, tossing Camryn her Pokeball. His aide raised the megaphone to his lips.

"If you just need a license and a Pokedex, you can just fill out the paperwork." The aide said. Now he wasn't wearing glasses anymore. Apparently he didn't actually need them.

"So does that mean you guys are going to Violet City?" Chris asked. He had inched over to the table with paperwork. Like a caterpillar. He'd moved back to his spot in line to hang out with the others, though. "I think I'll put in a code name in the name box. Like...Lone Star." Lone Star said.

"Haha! I'll conquer the Johto region with this Pokemon!" The orange-suited, mustachioed man said. He held a Magikarp in his arms.

((If you guys want to control Elm a little for recieving your Pokemon, feel free!))

Lina could barely contain her excitement as she moved up in line, evidenced by her hyperactive fidgeting.
"Here you g-" The professor started to say as he tossed a Pokeball to the redhead, only to be interrupted by her overjoyed whoop.
"Woo-hoo, thanks! Step one to becoming the greatest Pokemon trainer ever, complete!" Lina cheered, holding the Pokeball above her head as if it were a magnificent treasure. Without any hesitation, she scurried over to the paperwork table. She still needed her license and Pokedex, then she'd check to see what Pokemon she got once that was out of the way.

Brook blinked in surprise as the elder man seemed to ignore her. Or maybe he just hadn't heard her? Oh well. She shrugged it off, and joined the queue to get a Pokémon.

Once the ball was in hand, she moved over to fill out the paperwork. She already had a Ranger license, but it didn't grant the same privileges as one for a Trainer. Was I always able to camp out at Centres? Probably should've given the fine print a closer look.

Halfway through the process she stopped, something nagging at the back of her mind. That orange-suited man... She looked back up at him. Frowned quizzically. "Hey sir, you hail from Kanto? You seem awfully familiar..."

Seth acknowledged the guy in the sleeping bag with a nod, then turned his head after hearing the booming voice of Elm's aide.

Walking forwards with small steps, he received his Pokeball and moved off towards the side to fill out the given paperwork.

"All right! I hope this will be ok!"

He exclaimed as he put down the pen and stood up straight from the table.

Camryn caught her Pokeball deftly. It was all she could do to keep from shouting with joy. She sat down and filled out the paperwork as fast as she could, while studiously ignoring the orange-shirted man's demented yelling. As soon as the paperwork was done, she practically grabbed a Pokedex and license from the man and ran outside to find out what her Pokemon was. She made sure to move a bit farther away from other people, just in case her Pokemon was an Onix or something else huge. "Pokeball, go!" she said excitedly, tossing her Pokeball on the ground. As her Pokemon took shape again, she cocked her head to the side. It didn't look like any Ghost-type she'd ever seen...

Բարև ձեզ, տիրապետիր. Նշանակմանը սպասելը.

Camryn was speechless. She had actually gotten a Ghost-type! It was a Golett too! They were supposed to be really rare! She stood there for a few seconds in shock.

տիրապետիր՞

Her Golett's voice snapped her out of her stupor. She cleared her throat. "Uh, sorry. Yes?"

Նշանակմանը սպասելը.

"Uh..." Well, great. Her Golett could talk, but of course, she couldn't understand a word it was saying. Golett were supposed to be derived from ancient automatons, so maybe it was speaking the language it was programmed to? "I can't understand you. Sorry."

The little robot whirred for a moment, then said Ես հասկանում եմ.

Camryn pondered for a bit. "You need a name. I think I'll call you... Mummu. Is that alright?"

The robot nodded. Նշանակումը "mummu" ընդունված.

"Well, that sounded like agreement to me. C'mon, let's go talk to everyone else and see what they got." Camryn started walking over to everyone else, Mummu trundling along behind her.

The only reason I'm having Mummu talk is because Golett and Golurk are robots constructed to protect an ancient civilization. What he's saying is supposed to be the civilization's language, and since it's long-dead, Camryn can't understand it. This basically makes it an endearing quirk, rather than an advantage over the others. As for him being able to understand Camryn... don't think about it too hard. Or at all, really.

And if it shows up as a bunch of boxes, don't worry about it.

As soon as the paperwork was filled out, and her license and Pokedex obtained, Lina zipped away from the table to see who her partner was. Though, she didn't have the sense to move outside first.
Now standing near the front doors and off to the side where there were less people, she tossed the Pokeball into the air, mimicking the somewhat flashy technique her favorite television characters always used. It didn't work quite as she had wanted it to since the Pokeball opened as it hit the ground instead of midair, but that didn't really matter much.
With bated breath she watched the red light morph into a small, rounded figure.

"Oh, cool!" Lina exclaimed, crouching down to get a better look at the Trapinch that now sat on the floor. "You're a... uh... Trapinch!" She only really knew about Pokemon native to Johto, thus her moment of trouble remembering the Ground-type's name.

It tilted its head to the side, jagged maw opening slightly. So, it wasn't exactly an epic, badass Pokemon what she had in mind... But Lina was elated all the same.

"Okay, okay... Let's see, what to call you... Ah, Lion is a cool name!" The redhead jabbered happily, reaching out to pat its head. "Yeah, let's call ya that! Nice to meet you, Lion!"

The man in the orange suit simply smiled at Camryn.

"Haha. I get that a lot. No, I'm a stunt double for a lot of actors." He said. He had tucked his Magikarp under his left arm, and was stroking it with his right hand.

"Say, you're pretty fine. Maybe we can get you a job as an actress?" He said, extending a hand covered in fish juice to her. "My name is Horatio. Horatio Silverstone." He said.

Meanwhile, Lone Star inched up behind Seth, his Munchlax following him.

"Hey. You look like a cool guy. I can sense it." Lone Star said. "Like have you seen Dragon Ball Z? It's like I have a scouter. But in my head."

"D'you wanna travel together? Having a cool guy like you will improve my luck a thousandfold."

Dsmien filled in the paperwork as quickly and as neatly as possible. The end result was completely legible, but only just. He picked up the Pokédex, before rushing over to pick out his partner. Picking up a Pokeball, he immediately let the Pokemon out. A Cyndaquil popped out, and there were no words to describe Damien's expression.

"Yeah! A Fire-Type! I'm gonna call you Cynder, cuz you're a Cyndaquil."

He reached down and stroked her head. The Pokémon's face lit up with a shy smile.

Howard looked at the various trainers getting their pokemon, shooting a smile towards the trainer who was proud of getting a Cyndaquil, before heading up to register in a neat manner for his pokedex and starter, and before long, he was provided with a pokeball.

"Let's see what's in the ball..." Howard spoke to himself, before sending out the random pokemon... and it's... Elekid!

"Well, I think this traveling companion'll be doing some good for my well-being." Howard notes, looking at the Elekid with a warm smile.

Brook shook the hand outstretched to her, not seeming to mind the Magikarp juice coating it. Wearing gloves helped. "A stunt double, huh? Sounds exciting!"

Still strange, though. She wasn't really one for movies, and didn't have much of an eye for the faces of actors. Ah well, probably just a weird coincidence.

"Brook Piper, Ranger." She broke off the handshake, and used her now free hand to wave off the compliment. "And please, Horatio, you flatter me. Couldn't act my way out of a paper bag." She turned back to the paperwork, hastily scribbling down a few more details. "So what was that you said about, ahhh, 'conquering Johto' with the little guy there?"

Seth turns around after hearing someone call to him and say something about him and travelling together.

Cool guy??

"Oh hey. Umm, I don't think I would mind travelling with you I guess. I mean, I guess it would be a great help. Anyway, I'm Seth. And you are?"

Seth studied Lone Star's Pokemon.

"A Munchlax huh? It would be awesome once it evolves" He said with a smile.
