Question about the Moon Nuzlocke, since I stopped watching about halfway through: do the Kill La Kill references increase as the plot similarities to it increase? Because that alone might convince me to go back and watch the rest.
They never reference the show.
They referenced it once, with Lusamine's introduction.
Well then I can tell you it stopped.
Goku probably over trained.
Fetch quest in a Fillar Arc.

In 10 minutes they'll be doing the post-game stuff for emerald.
They are having way too much fun with that chroma key.
Starmie died to Groudon's Fissure.
Well, they fought Steven.
They wiped, but they got further then I thought they would.
Wow, I'm sorry I stopped watching the stream now.
They managed to get to his last Pokemon, and might have had a chance if he didn't get a lucky crit on Skids.
Also, new lore. After the wipe of her team, Maqubi turned to shopping and gambling, eventually moving to Johto and giving birth to Tantor.

Time Patroller Steven Stone has fixed the timeline so that Tantor may be born. Truly, he is the hero we deserve.
Melvin was kept safe from the second wipe, but fate's still gonna gets its own back by killing his brother down the line :v
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobI don't think the crit on Skidds ultimately mattered. Metagross is bulky and had a significant level advantage, so it would have likely survived an Earthquake (we can even calc it, which I might do later) and TPK'd them anyway.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Calculated with Skidds' stats and Nature against the worst possible Metagross (0 IVs, 0 EVs, -Defense Nature).
88.3% chance to 2HKO with Earthquake, so Metagross could've definitely tanked the first one. Meanwhile Metagross' Psychic is a guaranteed 2HKO (or 99.6% chance with a -Sp.Atk Nature) and its faster than Skidds so... Maybe they could've had a repeat of Kingdra and spammed healing until Metagross ran out of PP, but they'd still be gambling against a guaranteed crit-kill from Psychic or a 50% chance crit-kill from Earthquake (and, again, this is all against the weakest possible Metagross. Steven's Metagross is probably stronger).
they/them || "Forgive me, regent of queer amphibians" - Lt.BGobSo, what you're saying is, they were already dead.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm pretty sure NPC PokΓ©mon have neutral Natures. Not sure about IVs or EVs, but I suspect Steven's PokΓ©mon have 15 IVs across the board at minimum. Even if they didn't get crit on the first turn, Skidds probably wouldn't be able to kill with a lucky crit Earthquake.
They'd also have to deal with potential Special Defense drops from Psychic if they went with the "heal spam and PP stall" route.
Pretty much.
Something I forgot to mention earlier is that I kind of wish they wiped at Rayquaza. An Outrage crit probably would have killed Alloy, and their struggle from the climb combined with a wipe would have been a funny "Shaggy Dog" Story.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Should've kept buffing Jim.
Secret SignaturePretty sure they maxed out on Dragon Dances.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? They made sure to cap out their Dragon Dances on Claydol..
Jim's Attack and Speed were maxed out. If Jim had survived to see Metagross then one maxed out Jim Earthquake and one Skidds Earthquake could probably have taken it down, but Armaldo's Ancientpower would have KO'd Jim no matter how much HP they had, so the only way that scenario could happen is if Jim got a critical hit Fly on Armaldo, which can't happen because Armaldo is immune to critical hits. They could have switched out Jim on Armaldo and even unboosted he'd probably be the only team member faster than Metagross (I assume Metagross has 0 speed EVs and a speed neutral nature), but an unboosted Earthquake from Jim would've done so little damage that Skidds would still need to get a critical hit with his own Earthquake to win.
If we assume Metagross's Attack was high enough to 2HKO Skidds with Shadow Ball (IDK if it really was) then Skidds would have needed to stay in a healing loop for 35 turns to exhaust all of its PP for every move except Meteor Mash. The probability of using 35 attacks in a row without a single critical hit is (15/16)^35 = 0.10447 = 10%. Sacrificing everyone else would have helped somewhat, especially if they switched PokΓ©mon into moves they resisted, and had Alloy use Protect as often as possible.

What's the problem now?
More Xenoverse 2.
Goku's behind the humans, so he has to grind.
