While there are many amusing entries, I see no real value as a trope.
As an unofficial spokesman for Fletcher's American Cheese Chocolate, I second the motion.
Eat it until there's nothing left.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Cut it.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Cut it; it's not gouda 'nough.
How many cheese puns about nuking this are we gonna make?
Dunno, but it's a brieze making 'em.
Either way, we appear to have consensus to shred this.
Time to start dealing with the wicks.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportCleared a few letters worth.
So, trope's a goner then? Feels... right, honestly. Felt like an excuse to add it if the word "cheese" showed up anywhere. It wasn't even anything about cheese, it was cheese itself.
I'll help the cleanup.
WHELP, the wicks are gone, seems like. What's the next step.

Oh, the thread? Don't worry, it's just dead.we do have a slight problem though, it has over 300 inbounds. Are we ok just ditching those?
Wicks have been cleaned up; I put the trope in the cutlist.
We could always redirect to Life of Brian if they're that important.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? The inbounds aren't recent.

Previously, there was a TRS thread for this, but it was never opened. It mentioned how it's basically "cheese exists."
When I did some looking, I noticed that it wasn't the main problem: rather, this trope has an identity crisis.
So far, I see the following:
Should we reform this trope or put it through the grater?
