Before the dawn of man Elder Gods ruled the world with dark magic and unlimited power. Even after their dawn humans were playthings for the dark powers. Until one day five rose up, given dreams from those Beyond so they might seal the Elder Gods away. For years untold the Elder Gods have been trapped in their dreams by five powerful Lodestones. And so the peace has been kept.
But now in the modern time a business woman by the name of Timent has sought out and destroyed the first Lodestone, releasing three great generals that had once ruled the world under the banner of Cthulhu. Hastur, Idh-yaa, Janai'ngo, their forms hobbled by four other stones that yet rest. However each Elder God can summon legions of their horrors and spawns. Beyond that they still have alliances with other Elder Gods who exist beyond the hold of the stones powers and can call in their aid.
The only thing standing between humanity and destruction are the Others, who sensed the destruction of the stones and have brought their fleet to war against the allies of those Elder God's, and put their flagship above Earth, summoning the reborn spirits of those who had once come to protect the world. These five are the only ones who can bond with their ancestors Grimoires, and grant them the power to transform into the Delta Force Rangers.
It is their duty to track down and capture the Lodestones before the generals can destroy them. Backed with magic and technology from the Others. But will it be enough?
So the idea for the RP is that characters will be taking control of the five members of the Delta Force Rangers and face off against the insanity of the Elder enemies. However unlike the shows we grew up with the enemy can attack multiple positions at once, and you must use the clues found on missions to find the Lodestones.
Each mission will have new chances to help the Rangers. Either by defeating enemies to add their technology or powers to theirs, finding new clues to the Lodestones, or protecting the people and getting the world more ready to defend itself before they are unable too.
