Sorry, I don't think there's any good free editors that could handle those files. Well, maybe WMM could use mp4 but probs not MKV.

Face it, if you want something good, you’re going to need to shell out a little cash. Bite the bullet and buy the latest version of Sony Vegas Movie Maker. Mine only cost about $35, and it’s so much better than WMM!

So I'm planning on making an Eva-related video to upload onto You Tube & Nico Nico Douga. Can someone please recommend me a good free video editing software that can handle the titular file types well? Thanks in advance.
