Brazilian Telenovelas.

OK, that somewhat checks out against what happened in the chapter that aired the Saturday of the novela's second-to-last week. Which is still odd because Aline only got arrested two chapters after that and you said it will happen right in the next chapter. So maybe they are changing the order after all, which means I can't predict how many chapters are left accurately.

I never said she would be arrested. I just said that she was going to get CAUGHT by Cesar. That, while not definitive, its quite satisfactory.

She will get caught this Monday!

Ah, seems that I misunderstood you then. In that case, it makes a lot more sense. That means that there are still five chapters left.

Im going to cherish these final episodes so much. I love this show. I really want to see Joia Rara soon!

So, hasn't SNT made any sort of announcement about what the next novela will be yet? Globo usually starts announcing their next novela within the last few weeks of their current one.

They probably did, but since I no longer watch anything but Amar A Vida on SNT I havent caught any previews. I should try and see what they are airing next!

Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. After you find out, do tell me as soon as possible so that I can tell you as much as I can about it, specially if turns out that it wouldn't be Joia Rara. But I'm keeping my finger crossed that it will be the one airing next.

God this episode really made me cry.

And it wasnt Cesar realizing Aline was a bitch and feeling devastated. It wasnt Felix seeing his poor brother malnourished and in pain. (Though that was pretty sad.) It wasnt Cesar being an ungrateful bastard and hating. Felix.It was Marcia's talk with Felix after all that. Marcia and Felix talked about how neither of them opened themselves up for love. How they both built walls around themselves. How Marcia was born into a poor family where her father beat her mother almost everyday. Until they died (Or just one of them I dunno) and Marcia resorted to her sensuality as a means to cope. That's why she puts the front of being a sexy lady. God I never expected that talk to be so devastating.

Yeah, that chapter as a whole was pretty depressing, specially the talk between Felix and Marcia. Gosh, that does put her behavior and the way she encouraged her daughter to be the same way in a whole new, pretty depressing light, doesn't it?

Yeah. I loved Marcia before but I adore her now.

Also the novela ends this thursday. Im going to miss it so much.

Yeah, it just makes you appreciate her all the more for it.

And yeah, it's sad that it coming to an end again. Personally, I'm going to miss reading about your reactions to it. Talking to you about it has been just so great. It was like watching it all over again, so now it feels like watching it end all over again, which makes me feel kinda sad. It's not going to be the same with Em Familia, since I never watched it myself.

HOLY MATRIMONY BATMAN! Almost every character got married in this episode. And SNT did something weird, when they got back from commercials they replayed a scene (Lutero examining Cesar's sight) for 5 seconds until they "Re-came" back from commercials to Linda's wedding. Wow, even Linda got married, No wedding for Tales and Natasha, even though they proposed last episode LOL. And Valdirene got married too!

Oh my gosh, one more chapter to go! Trust me, I'm gonna miss this nearly as much as you.

And don't worry. Obviously they are saving the best for last, specifically, Thales and Natasha's wedding as well as Bruno and Paloma's renewal of vows.

And Edith's wedding with Herbert. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww BLEGH. At least they broke up. I love this ending its so sweet. Im watching it with my mom and we are delighted! And I cant wait to see Paulinha and Felix make peace! ALSO FELIX AND NIKO ARE FINALLY GOING TO KISS. IM SO EXCITED!

Yeah, they certainly did an excellent job of wrapping it all up pretty nicely, didn't they? I think this was probably one of the best endings to a novela that I have ever seen.

GOD IM GOING TO MISS THIS NOVELA SO FREAKING MUCH. Em Familia wont be the Family this novela was for me! Even my mom loved the ending,(Except the gay kiss but she was much more calm about that she would have been years ago, she's progressing). Tales and Natasha married via a lawyer, that's sad. If Valdirene got to have a pretty wedding why not Natasha? And I love that his book is a success. And Nido's goodbye to Paulinha was so moving, as was Felix's being her friend forever. I loved Cesar finally saying he loved Felix and holding his hand. Because I did see that scene but I didnt hear him say it. Rafael and Linda are so cute together,But what moved me the most was Bruno crying over his baby boy being born healthy. He cried so much that it seemed he died, but I understand him That must have been quite the experience, espacially after his little boy and Luana dying at the beginning of the novela.

I think I can somewhat get how you felt while watching the gay kiss scene with your mom. My family probably only barely tolerated it. But wow, Thales and Natasha didn't get a proper wedding cerimony? Seriously!? Seems that I completely misremembered that one, because I totally thought that they had gotten one. But yeah, pretty much every scene that happened during Bruno and Paloma's party was beautiful and sweet, specially Cesar reconciling with Felix and the latter befriending Paulinha. And Bruno's reaction to his son was indeed extremely touching.

Oh my gosh, I'm so sad that this has come to an ending yet again. I miss this novela to this day and hearing you tell me about was like watching all over again. Thank you so much for these wonderful conversations, amigo. I know that it won't be the same with Em Familia, but try to keep me posted on whatever else may come.

It was a nice wedding for Tales and Natasha, but they didnt have a huge one. I guess Simple is best. I was so scared for Paloma.the actors really portrayed a high risk pregnancy well. I love Globo for showing such a beatiful family novela.

Ah, OK then. I'm glad that they did have a nice wedding, if not a grand one and also that my memory didn't fail me so terribly as I though it had. And yeah, they did a pretty good job of portraying a high-risk pregnancy. It was particularly scary because of what happened to Luana, but thankfully everything turned out alright.

That song is indeed beautiful and it does fit them very well. And awwwwww! I'm glad your friends and I are able to make you feel so much better! They sound like very nice people if they are able to do that for you. And let me just say that you are a pretty awesome friend too!

I found out something! Klara Castannho, has a designated actress for when she needs to be dubbed! Her name is Nycolle Gonzales. WOW! She is such a talented and famous actress. Only really special people get their own dub actress!

Wow, that really is somewhat amazing! And yeah, she really is very talented. I think she won Globo's Melhores do Ano award for best child actress at least once. Though I think it was for her role as Rafaela in Viver a Vida.

Wanna see her in action in the original version of the novela? Here, have a link for the scene where Felix and Paulinha become best friends forever. The scene should be pretty fresh in your memory and if I could understand the dubbed version after not have seen it for such a long time, then I think that you should be able to understand it too.

Wow, the voices are so different yet lovely, Mateus Solano sounds REALLY deeo and Klara sounds a bit deeper too.

Also KUDOS for Rede Globo to not give me the "THIS CONTENT IS UNAVAILAIBLE TO YOUR PARAGUAYA ASS!" Many companies do that, its insanely annoying.

I had a pretty similar reaction when I watched the dubbed version of the scene.

Well, I had high hopes that itwould indeed work there based on the fact that Globo is available on SO many countries through Globo International and I'm glad that I was right on that regard.

Also, since SNT has aired some older novelas like Cor do Pecado and Mulheres Apaixonadas, tell me if you have seen any one of the following: Começar de Novo, América and Belissima. Marina Ruy Barbosa, the actress who played Nicole, had pretty good roles in the first and third ones when she was just starting acting as a child. She also played a fairly major in Sete Pecados, a relatively more recent one. And speaking of child actresses, América had Bruna Marquezine, who you probably may recognize for her amazing role as Salete in Mulheres Apaixonadas. And speaking of her, she has a very major rolein Em Familia. That and the fact that it was written by the talented novela writer Manuel Carlos just might be the novela's saving graces.

Sorry, havent seen them! But what did you think of the dubbed scene? Were the voices deeper or higher pitched and cuter? I loved Klara and Mateus Solano! E UMA INTRUSA! (That's obviously from the scene where Felix confesses everything but I loved that line. And the slap that comes after.)

I wonder what happens to the novelas SNT doesnt air. Its sad that we dont get to see them! I wonder if SNT and Paravision didnt air them, or if I didnt see them.

I found the voices to be slightly higher pitched and cuter, which makes sense since you found the original voices to be deeper. Pretty good voice work too, particularly from Nycolle dubbing Paulinha. Ah, I take that you have watching the other scenes on the site, then. There are indeed quite a few of them still stored, surprisingly. And yeah, I love that scene as well!

Well, while on one hand it would be sad that if they simply didn't air yet, on the other hand, if they haven't aired them, then there is a chance you might still see a few of them in the future. And given the fact that the channel doesn't re-air stuff all that much, yeah, let's hope they haven't been yet, for your sake, at least.
