"Has his Katra been returned by Friend Computer?" Nimoy asks. "Are you part of his Away Party?"
"His what now? He's probably respawned somewhere, if that's what you mean."
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor Hebert"I see." says Nimoy. "If his Katra has returned, it is not aboard this train and I doubt I will be seeing him again soon. I have something that was promised to him." Nimoy holds out the black bag. "Will one of you take this to the reborn Thomas and ask him to remember his promise?"
((After someone takes the bag))
Nimoy taps his robe, at about where his left nipple would be. "One to beam out." he says, then climbs out a window and leaps off of the speeding train.
"What an eccentric individual." the Auto-Pilot says, putting its conductor cap back on.
Silence agrees with the Auto pilot. And praises it for doing it's job so well.
Lanius takes the bag wordlessly, then after Nimoy leaves, opens it and paws through, trying to discern whatever was in the bag.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertThe autopilot soaks in the praise as the train continues accelerating.
Opening the bag reveals... Something.

Lanius gingerly withdraws his hand from the bag and closes it. "Okay, so, this is a bomb. ...I think. It's clear and has a timer and a button on it, but I'm not really sure what else it could be."
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor Hebert((I'm still monitoring this thread by the way, just haven't seen any action that required a GM response. Basically waiting to see what you guys do with this new-clear bomb and if there's anything else you want to do before the train REDACTED at HRG sector. ))

Why don't we have a Discussion thread?
((I've been too lazy to start one and it's more fun (for me) to wait to see if you slip up and post an OOC comment here as IC. If you want to start a discussion thread, feel free.Just remember, anything said in this thread may be overheard by Friend Computer, and any obvious signs of in character coordination done out of character may be designated as proof of mutant telepathy.))

It'd be better to keep track of our posters? We seem to have a few inactives.
Still here, I promise.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertStill around as well.
(Hmm, I'm still here.)
"In the grim darkness of the future, there is only war."Is Thomas going to wait in the waiting area, join the infrareds crowding in the train arrival area, or try to get into the VIP lounge?
He's going to wait in the waiting area.
"In the grim darkness of the future, there is only war."Meanwhile, unless someone else has a better idea, Lanius is going to pocket the bomb and its bag(?) until such time as they arrive and/or Lanius finds a good use for it.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertSo... Does anyone want to do anything else before the train arrives at HRG sector?
Nope. Not really.
Fenix just calmly dozes as the train speeds along.
Sorry for the absence.
Fenix is woken up by the sound of the train PA system turning on.
"This is the Auto Pilot speaking. As you may have noticed, we have been accelerating for a prolonged period. We are about to arrive at HRG Sector Station, where we will briefly experience a period of externally induced catastrophically rapid deceleration. At this time, we ask all passengers to assume crash positions and wish to thank you for riding Alpha Complex Monorail, the safest method of travel between sectors available at your current clearance level. Wheeee!"
The monorail train arrives at HRG station, still accelerating. The dozens of infrared citizens standing in the train arrival area are rendered in a mix of blood mist as the heavy metal locomotive slams through them, slowing the train by perhaps as much as a mile or two per hour before the train slams into a thick metal wall. The Auto-Pilot, any trouble shooters in the control room, and the locomotive of the train is now basically a metal pancake with some organic impurities. The car behind the engine room, holding the remaining trouble shooters and Beta Max, are also turned into basically a metal pancake with some organic impurities. Most of the remaining cars, including the luggage car, turn into various version of metal accordions. The Very Important Passenger car, at the end of the train, survives with significant damage. The passengers, most very shook up, stagger out showing various injuries. One man in a green suit strides out, announces "Still the safest method of transportation between sectors!", and exits the train station.
Thomas-R-MOR-2 gets slapped by a dismembered hand, flying from the wreck. He might (or might not) recognize it as belonging to Sophia Dev. Examining the wreckage for anything useful, he finds a batch of scattered Lolly-Boos (all that remains of Beta Max) and a very shell shocked looking wooden lawn gnome that was somehow miraculously thrown clear of the wreckage. Thomas recognizes it as Yotsuba, the lawn gnome Teslaa was carrying around earlier. There is a sealed envelope tucked in one of Yotsuba's hands.
Various janitorial staff appear, beginning to clean up the mess. After a few minutes, Integ-O-ITY-5, Teslaa-O-COI-4, Silence-O-106-5, Lanius-O-USS-5, Fenix-O-MOR-3, and High-R-ISE-2 arrive at the train station via a large Auto-Hack, freshly removed from the clone vats. They have their jumpsuits, laser pistols, and the rest of their starting gear except for the sealed envelopes from earlier.
(An auto-hack is basically an electric powered car)
Lanius grimaces. "Goddammit."

"Oh he died. Got torn apart by the passengers when he angered them," Silence answered.
