Well, there is one thing that makes it more confusing: Nicktoons still airs reruns of the episodes it aired last year. If the license was pulled, wouldn't that be impossible to do?
"We be we baby!"Kind of irked that Nick said NOTHING to its audiences or fans when they dropped Ladybug, but staying silent about negative on-goings is par for the course for corporations.
How disappointing that Chloe is going to be Abeille. Predictable but incredibly disappointing.
Oissu!The bee Kwammi?
"We be we baby!"Abeille = Bee in French. So yes.

Oissu! It was obvious from the start.
"We be we baby!"Chloe is just such a bitch I don't want to see her anywhere near a Miraculous, but yes, it was predictable.
Oissu!I don't mind, because I view it as the writers forcing depth and development on the character who needs it the most. Unless she becomes a total joke character, she'll need to improve.
I would have personally liked her to either become less relevant while remaining her established self or broken some. Maybe I'll get the latter, that would be nice. But the show seems too lighthearted to really hit her with some good old-fashioned karma.

Oissu!Hopefully she'll pull a Pacifica and shift into a well-rounded and likeable character.
To be honest, I'm more interested in who the last Miraculous is going to go to. My money's still on either Juleka or Nathaniel.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. She's already a likable character. I like her because of how much of a terrible person she is.
I can't agree, but as a general rule I despise bullies.
Oissu!Perhaps Chloe will have a FaceāHeel Turn during the experience.

"We be we baby!"She's so unlikable she's likable to me. Sabrina's more straight pitiable.
Wonder what her power is. I also look forward to the transformation.

I feel bad for Sabrina but it's clear she needs serious therapy for a huge load of issues before she can be a better person.
Oissu! There's a pretty good fanfic that has Sabrina get the bee Miraculous. I think its updated quite a bit since I last read it, so I'm unsure of the quality of latter updates.
I would very much have preferred someone else getting the Bee. It's going to feel weird that Chloe's probably going to get more sympathetic plot-lines in S2 before she gets the Miraculous. I doubt Master Fu would give it to her without that act of kindness like with the other two.
Either that, or Master Fu gave Abeille instructions to give Chloe an Humiliation Conga to really knock her down a couple pegs before really being a team.

Wake me up at your own risk.Character design-wise, I feel that Nino is actually the best bet for the Peacock, given h is prominent nose, cap, and the design on his shirt.

I want to know about Chloe's mother.
Please allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and taste. Nice to meet you, hope you can guess my name.He had good reason to give the Miraculouses to Marinette and Adrien. He's gotta see something in her worth giving.
That's assuming she doesn't steal it and get stuck with the gig, which would be pretty hilarious.
It's been revealed that the Miraculous box has other levels we haven't seen yet, so there are more we don't know about yet
Just recently getting into the series.
I am a bit confused about Cat Noir's role. I mean, I DO know his role, technically, but his position is questionable. From what I understand, Marinette and Adrien hold the more powerful Miraculous-es, and they are supposed to be a representation of Yin and Yang, as in, one cannot exist without the other, balance of power, equality, yada. And I know the creator, Thomas(?), has gone to say that Cat Noir isn't a sidekick. And Ladybug insist he's a partner.
But for me, it looks like a lot more telling than showing with the show's treatment of him.
Not to mention Ladybug's power bracket is more substantial. I get how returning everything to what it was is fitting with Creation and Good Luck, but so far Cat Noir just has Cataclysm, right? And he can't purify an akuma himself, so he can't save the day without actually rotting someone. I just wonder what the trade off is since yin and yang are supposed to be equal.
Marinette is definitely the POV character and it shows. Unfortunately, as for whether Ladybug and Noir's powers are really as equal as the show says... We just don't know yet.
Oissu!I think Cat Noir suffers from the fact that an idealistic, PG-rated superhero show where all the villains are manipulated innocents isn't going to be able to use weaponized destruction nearly as freely as weaponized creation. Theoretically he should have no problem just instantly destroying their foes, but this isn't the kind of series where destroying the foes is ever on the table. But yeah, the show definitely has a problem with showing him as useless compared to Marinette.
Well, technically speaking, Netflix has the US Streaming rights, so Nick could theoretically air the episodes on cable first, and Netflix would stream afterwards. But given how Nick has been treating the show, I wouldn't hold your breath. And in any case, the way Zag worded the announcement implies that Nick had the license yanked, likely because of how they'd been treating it. Here, I'll quote you:
"This expansion is a response to the high demand and changing lifestyles of our huge, digitally-savvy global fan community who pushed Miraculous to #2 ranking on Tumblr TV 2016 with over 5.6MM posts. Our "Miraculers" want access to their beloved show anytime. In most of the world, Miraculous ranks #1 for girls and kids, with an evident and growing family audience," said Jeremy Zag, CEO and Founder of ZAG.
