Miraculous Ladybug

Looks like special came out on Netflix, but not on You Tube. Well, not on official channel anyway.

Watching scenes with Chloe, I couldn't help but notice someone missing even during Christmas... Adrien is nice to Chloe because she too has a Missing Mom.

Funny how Adrien is a nice guy while his father is a cold fish and Chloe is a brat with a too present father.

I was a bit... disappointed, but it was still good.

I don't have an NF account, so I need to wait for completely legal methods.

Hope you get one soon because the dub is moving to Netflix and off of TV come next month. Also I find it interesting that season two starts in May but we're getting the English version on Netflix in June. Especially when you remember how Netflix does things.

Giving it up so Netflix can air it instead seems like a routine move for Nickelodeon with ANY show they don't have confidence in at this point.

Sadly Ladybug is probably just a bit too girly than what Nick's comfortable with.

Considering it is one of the most popular shows on Nick, that would be a bad move.

But of course Nick rarely makes good moves.

Same thing happened to Korra.

I vaguely remember comparing Nick's treatment of this show to its treatment of Korra and getting yelled at...

You were jumping the gun a bit. "getting booted to netflix" is a tad more concrete.

Are we for sure that Nickelodeon can't still show it on TV? I heard that Netflix has online streaming rights, but that Nick might still have access to the show too.

I was told it's not official yet. I think we need more information from the source to find out the future of the show.

Funny, I see it in Disney Channel.

In different countries, it goes to other networks.

Yeah, most places have it under disney, but the US has it under Nick.

Watched the episode. It's pretty much what I thought it would be. Cute, fun and full of the usual cheese I've come to love so much. After a while without new episodes, I missed the catchphrases.

So this is Adrien’s first Christmas without his mom.

Adrien got his Miraculous at or near the start of the school year (September-ish, unless it's way different in France).

And we've already had a Valentine's Day Episode, so this actually takes place before a bunch of Season 1.

Sounds about right.

Just got to watch it.

A decent above average episode.

It was cool seeing Alya's family. And I liked seeing more of the soft side of Gabriel.

Adrian's mother vanished way more recently than I thought. Which is interesting.

Also that's another strike for Marinette in the Akuma stakes.

Watching the Special. It was cheesy as all Hell, but very cute in a way. But the songs sucked.
