There is a Youtuber called Fail Race. He has over 100000 subscribers. He presented the channel since 2011. The presenter layouts were: Alex, Daniel and James, Alex and Daniel, Alex, Daniel and Husky and Alex himself. I thought his channel is a good place for searching for tropes. Here are some I found:

The Alleged Car: Most cars from the Set Up Challenges and Vs The Police series.

What Happened To The Mouse?: About a year ago, Dan and Husky stopped appearing. It has been actually revealed that Dan has his own channel and Husky has too much IRL work to do.

The Bus Came Back: The Ferrari in The World Car Football Cup seems to be the same car as in The Auction House Challenge, just repainted.

The Precious, Precious Car: Daniel's Ferrari in the Auction House Challenge. That makes Alex have a lot of fun teasing Dan. Maybe that's why Alex crashes it a lot in the World Car Football Cup.

Periphery Demographic: They used the Nissan Leaf a lot, not because it's eco-friendly, but because it doesn't make practically any noise and as such is a great camera car.

Can you find more tropes in Fail Race?

The Chase: A good number of his videos (the ones in Forza Horizon) involve recreating a chase scene from a film or popular piece of media. It usually involves a bunch of players pursuing Alex (Failrace) across the map, or within a given area.

Hunting the Most Dangerous Game: A popular series he has is the Survive the Hunt series. He has a big group of hunters (i think around 20ish on average) set out to kill him once his headstart is done, and they have a few restrictions in place so that they don't immediately nail him in the first minute. Alex has to survive for 24 Hours in game (which usually lasts around 50 mins judging by his successful hunt videos where he lasts for long). After a few videos, he started to add a "Blow Up Prius" rule that gave him incentive to move around the city and not hide out in one area of the city.

Hidden in Plain Sight: Alex's main method of trying to last in a game with a bunch of hunters is to act like an NPC driver. Usually following traffic laws and AI patterns that are notable among the NP Cs. Of course, whenever he is or thinks he is spotted, he immediately starts to bolt away.

Once per Episode - It's only labeled "a proper FailRace video" if a car flips ("rolls") over in some fashion.

Catchphrase - "Hello and welcome to the show".

Long-Runners - The "Failrace" series has run for 9 years and over 300 episodes.

Wacky Racing - Naturally, although "the inverse law of FailRace" states, the sillier the setting (whether the vehicles or the race track, or both), the better the race.

Plus, moments of awesome/funny/heartwarming, drinking game, and character list could all be filled up extensively over time.
