Hidden Daemon is mafia inverted. Like mafia there is a day and night cycle, and players are given roles. There are two factions in the game:

THE PRIESTS (Always comprise just more than 50% of the players. So in a game of 6 players there are 4 priests, in a game of 5 there are 3)

One of the priests is POSSESSED by a daemon, however, none of the priests know if they are possessed or not.

The possessed priest's daemon will make a kill, the person who the daemon kills will be decided by a simple rule that only the mod will be aware of. It will somehow be connected to the interaction between the possessed player and the other players.

The other faction is SATANISTS. They all know who each other are, and who is possessed.

There is no lynching, instead, every player has a GUN with a single bullet. At any point during the day they may choose to shoot themselves, or another player, that player will be killed and immediately removed from the game. Every player has only one bullet, once it is gone, it's gone. Roles are NOT revealed on death. And because of the lack of lynching, day phases will end periodically once every week without hesitation (althougo the death might take longer to write).

The Satanists win if everyone dies, or everyone but the possessed dies, the priests win if a scenario is reached where the Satanists' win condition can be indefinitely prevented.

Examples of this:

Only the possessed and one Satanist is left and the possessed has used up his bullet. The Satanist immediately kills himself, leaving only the possessed. - SATANIST WIN

Only one Satanist is left but he's used up his bullet. Not everyone is dead and there is no way for the remaining Satanist to make that so. - PRIESTS WIN

There's one priest and 1 Satanist left in the game, the Possessed has just shot himself. Both remaining players have their bullets. The Satanist must encourage the priest to kill himself before the day ends, so that he may then kill himself and the Satanists will win. If he doesn't do this, the night phase will pass without a death after which point it will be clear the possessed has died. Once it is obvious the possessed is dead the priest will have no intention of killing himself, and if the Satanist kills him he will lose his bullet and we will be in the scenario above.

The final extra thing is denouncing. You may choose to publicly DENOUNCE a player as being a Satanist at any time. This does absolutely nothing game play wise, but the mod will keep track of who's denounced who and will post the denouncement tables regularly.

Sounds like a cool idea. It's like RAF and Mafia had a baby and a slightly more sensible Jack Chick was its uncle. Only slightly.
