You can use behind the name, a website full of names. Somewhere is Indian names.

A link to the above-mentioned website:
Behind the Name
You may also find some use in BabyNames.com—click on "advanced search" (in the "Find Names" menu on the bar near the top); there should be a section below the search fields titled "Explore Names by Origin", which I believe includes a section for Indian names.
Note for the sake of clarity: In both cases above, "Indian" refers to India, not Native American nations.

Yeah, I probably should have specified I needed a Hindu name. Through resources such as those I found Bhawani which can be 'creator', so that's the first name. I also need a last name, however,

So I'm working on a character and I need a name, for my comic. The other creator and I have developed a history of having the names for our character be strangely significant; for example, we have a character named Wilhelm Jaeger, which means 'defender hunter'... which is a pretty good description of what he does.
Anyway, the character I am working on is an Indian woman born in the 1950s, a prodigy geneticist. She's riddled with genetic conditions, which confines her to a wheelchair, but she has a dream of evolving humans to a form free of all disease, and she does so... sort of. Bottom line is she's brilliant yet cynical, ushering in a new cycle of mankind. Does anyone have any suggestions for resources I could use? Or just straight-up suggestions for names?
