Also, I presume there's bullshit keeping the utilities up? Otherwise this is gonna get really whacked-out - and not in a good way, more in an entirely too mundane way...
I come wandering out of a house near where Engie's at, looking like my real-life self for now... For those unaware, that's a slim, young, clean-shaven guy with shoulder-length curly black hair and brown eyes. I'm wearing casual clothes, t-shirt and shorts. I look around curiously, and confusedly.

I consider my "running the fuck away", "trying to sneak off or hide", and "seeing where this goes (because no point in running if I'm fucked anyway)" options, and choose the last one mostly because I don't want realism to force me out of the scene, peering through a crack between the living-room curtains, crouching low to minimize the chances of being spotted.

I've always been terrible at hiding, always seem to get spotted whenever I try this [kind of thing]... come on, would Loki really chase down a mere- but then, he can just shoot me in the back... and is that even...? I don't know, but I sure as hell ain't sticking around to find out... trouble is, the terrain is all flat in every direction so far as I can see... don't like my chances of sneaking off...
...that's odd, no "bow before Loki"? Is he just setting up to mind-control him? Or... am I just making a massive ass out of myself here? Well, better that than dying... or worse...
Just assuming I saw enough of him that I'm fairly certain of his identity, thanks to the way you phrased your post. And that his sceptre is nearby, further proving it.
