Congratulations, it's a lizard. I think.
The astronomer's speech seemed like foreshadowing. He asks about what side we fall on, light or darkness, so maybe the government isn't bad as it looks like.
And if Felia is the titular Lucifer, maybe it's true.

You claim that God is opressing us, but I see you opressing others without needing a God.This series seems somewhat interesting and it definitely has some good visuals. It is a little light on plot at the moment but I am guessing that has been left for the next episode.
It was alright. Feel like it'd have been better off without the giant robots. Particularly since humans are ridiculously durable in this setting to begin with
I hope this being set on a far-future Earth wasn't supposed to be a surprise, because it's pretty obvious
To me, it's the inverse. I was uncertain of its quality until the mecha fight in the end. Now I'm hyped.
In general, the dialogue was laconian. We get vague hints and only the minimal necessary to understand the situation at hand. Honestly, I'm not sure of where this anime it's going because this way of writing. The only thing we sure it's that the guy who oversees the excavation will use his own mecha to attack the heroes next episode.

You claim that God is opressing us, but I see you opressing others without needing a God.The first episode got me hooked. It has this adventurous, lighthearted feel to it. I love the visuals of the world they are creating, so bright and colorful. It's nice that the characters already know each other instead of just meeting at the start of the story, I like that.
Sougo seems like a fun protagonist with his love for crystals and high speeds. Kaon seems to be a rebelious lady type which I like. Roman and Otto are pair of idiots.
Wow, Kaon can keep steady on a speeding floater without holding anything. That's impressive.
Otto, that wasn't being little rough, that was murder attempt.
Roman is already establishing himself as a total twat it seems.
Mysterious crystal girl, well that's never a good sing. Unless you like adventures, in which case it's an excellent sing.
I have the feeling that the grunt in the mecha was just really stupid. Why did he go straight to trying to squash them? Makes no sense.
Autonomous mecha? That could be interesting.
I liked it. The romantic sub-text between Sougo and Kaon is a nice touch. Roman and Otto are both over-paid idiots, and as much as we might want to see them just go away, chances are, that's not going to happen, what with Roman caring more about the wedding ceremony than his fiance's well being. If Kaon had died from Otto forcing her off the road down a pit, would he have been willing to marry a corpse?
The government trying to take the Lima (presumably the giant gem with the girl inside) for itself makes sense. As for the driver of that mech, he was under orders to take the Lima, of course, using a mech to try and grab small children isn't the smartest idea, but orders are orders.
Well, this is a first for me. Mascot toy becoming a killer mecha.
I like the fighting, Moura is definitely powerful but unskilled compared to how well the captain fought with his mecha.
Felia does the cutesy stuff of newborn mentality and bad vibes from kid in prison (seriously, that dude is bad news).
Wait, is Moura Inori Minase??
I liked the second episode a lot more than the first. The fight at the beginning was good and there was some nice animation. The psycho kid in the prison was entertaining and I actually liked how they used the gun flashes to save the animation budget for the mecha fights. The Pokémon thing turning into the mecha was also interesting.

I liked the fight at the beginning. It was pretty cool to see Gus throw everything he got at Moura, for absolutely no effect. It really showed how strong the letter is.
do Mon sees them coming hours late, all bruised up, carrying and unconscious girl and he's just like "you guys hungry?". I suspect he's highs as hell all the time.
Felia is pretty cute, and she seems to have awakened Kaon maternal instinct.
Kaon moves in with Sougo. This is gonna be good.
So the mascot character is the mecha. And it seems the mark on Sougo hand is the key.
Goddamit Moura, never interrupt someone in the middle of telekinesis, especially if it's something hot!
Wow, those guards didn't stand a chance. That was brutal.
The third episode had a bit of a Villain of the Week feel to it but at least the creepy lolicon hacker was amusing. I must also say that I am loving the design of industrial mecha used in the series.
Alfried is a fruit loop. Sassy Inori Minase is just the best.
Felia is like a little sister you want to spoil.
Seems like he isn't a monster of the week though. He said something about meeting Felia four years ago, around the same time Gus said a similar hacker attack also happened.
You claim that God is opressing us, but I see you opressing others without needing a God.True it does look like it will link up with the overall plot but the episode was set up like a Villain of the Week episode.
That guy has psycho mannerisms so exaggerated that I'm in doubt if he's a serious or comedic villain.
He's defeated by a metallic cable taking part of his hair, my god.
What is anime? Anime is...only a weeaboo way of saying animation, really.I can't believe we forgot Roman's tight butt.
I'm still in doubt if it's fanservice or disservice. Only a woman(or a gay man) can give us the definitive answer.
What is anime? Anime is...only a weeaboo way of saying animation, really. From where I come, saying you want to "eat" someone means exactly what you think it means. Sex.
You claim that God is opressing us, but I see you opressing others without needing a God.Okay, this was weird. A random guy turns out to be a crazy lolicon hacker and starts harassing Felie. Weird as hell.
I don't even know what Roman's deal is. He's weird.
I have to say tho, the city design is amazingly beautiful. The bridge, the buildings, the... cat-pigeons? Also the mecha designs are pretty cool.
Is this 24 episode show? Because it has pacing of one.
It is 2 cour, yes.
Watch SymphogearCat-pigeons? Heh, been a while since since I last watched a show with animal hybrids. The Avatar series reigns supreme on that front.
Alfried sure is crazy. Makes me wanna think he's an Albedo reject.
Gus' team-building is coming along well. Two crazies so far, but they're good at what they do, so...
Seriously, the mecha designs are cool, and their movements are well done as well.

I wonder if forming a team from the biggest psychos he can find will bite Gus in the ass. Those are not people I would trust with a box of crayons after all.
Yeah, mecha designing are awesome, I especially liked how they turn from spider form to humanoid from in one fluid motion.
Episode four was good with some nice comedy (rich fiancée guy is an entertaining moron) and random vegetable dance number. Nice to see the plot begin to get going at the end of the episode as well and it looks like the Captain guy may be Sogo's father
Do we have a trope for when one character threatens another by showing what they could do with them by doing that on a object?

What is anime? Anime is...only a weeaboo way of saying animation, really.Wow, Do Man is surprisingly chill with talking rocks transforming into robots.
Wtf ahaha dancing veggies to a jazz number
Fucking Roman is just too fabulous
First episode is out. I'm getting a lot of Eureka Seven vibes.
