Not bad for starters...I like the Genshiken pics best. The second Haruhi suggestion is getting squashed, and the K-On pic looks more like setting up for band practice than an actual club meeting.

The problem is this trope and school clubs are every after school activity, indoor and outdoor. They arnt the same as in the US, even the sports teams are clubs.

Otaku Clubs, Model Building Club, Soccer Clubs, Volleyball Club, a Light Music Club, Cheer Club, Brass Band, Survival Club, Kendo team, Idol Club etc. hell look at one class roster and see how many different types of clubs there are just for those 31 students. ALL fall under this trope with the exception of the Go Home Club. A lot of clubs don't have the kind of club room in a lot of shows.

I don't think one image is going to cut it.

[up] That would be a good thing for a Music Club.

BTW is it me or is this trope ludicrously underused for how common it is in A&M? The description is a mess too.

[up][up] Last one is a dead link. As for the working links, I have a hard time figuring out my favorite; modt of them looked pretty good.

[up] Looks like another viable option.

As for the OP, Genshiken-1 and Haruhi-1 are my favorites from those five.

Here's a crowner for the suggestions.

What about a multipart image? A normal club room then a sports club which do not have a room?

Idea, What about this[1]? Each character is dressing up as a stereotypical club member for Halloween.

Cheerleading, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Gymnastics, Tennis, Cosplay, Science, Swimming, and Kendo clubs all in one image.

[up]Looks good but I've got to ask, they have clubs for cosplay? That's a new one.

Also, why is "ยต" in the subtitles?

[down]Ah, cool. You should add it to the crowner.

That's the Idol Club's name 'Muse' which is written like that in greek "μ's". I added one without subs.

And yes Cosplay club is quite common. Literally anything can be a club, Train club, Idol Club, Science Club Society for the study of modern visual culture Amusement Club, Sweets Club.

Literally everything but the "Go Home Club" and some 'societies' at certain schools which are clubs without enough members to be a full club but still can congregate and recruit to be a full club

This trope is so wide, but the usage on the page is so limited it needs a pimping. Would I need to take it to the repairshop to get the description revamped so it does not talk about examples in the description?

EDIT: Added it to the crowner.

Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku or Chronicles Of The Going Home Club gotta make point though that it's English name is based on something that is NOT the trope.

Going Home Club is literally the derogatory term for the opposite of this trope.

[up] Thanks; that takes care of the IL page. Gonna go ahead and lock up since we don't have consensus on a caption.
