Matsuena Syun next manga after History Strongest Disclipe Kenichi. If it sounds to you like three different premises put together you are not far from truth. Syun wrote three one shots (Haruka, Kanata and Dem III) after Kenichi ended but in the end he decided to use all three of them. The effect are interesting to say the least. One could think that the premises would clash but they blend together rather nicely. Each of the three protagonists is a very different person and they bounce of each other nicely. The art is still as good as it was in Kenichi and I don't need to add that the battle scenes are awesome.
Give it a try especially if you are Syun fan already.
