So, now that Welcome to Night Vale is a huge success, there are inevitably going to be some people trying to re-capture that lightning in a bottle. I've found a series that's similar to WTNV in that it takes place in a small town (the titular King Falls) and that the protagonists work at a radio station. Beyond that, there are plenty of differences.

For one thing, it has more characters than WTNV- at least, more characters with speaking roles. Regulars on the show include the town's (possibly corrupt) mayor, the semi-bumbling deputy, a man who's written extensively about King Falls and is a bigger hack than Stan Pines (and also may be a vampire), and poor Tim Jensen, who was abducted by aliens. The two main roles are Sammy- a skeptic from the big city who has trouble adjusting to the weirdness of the town, but grows into it- and Benny- a native of King Falls who embraces the town's weirdness, but is reluctant to stir up the status quo by doing things such as reporting on a zombie attack.

As far as I can tell, it's a Canadian-produced Podcast- the website that hosts it, The League of Manchildren, advertises itself as "Vancouver's Nerdy Little Secret"- but beyond that, I can find little to no information about these guys. Their website, found here, is non-functional beyond some social media buttons at the bottom- at least for me.

As of right now, ten episodes are up, and according to the Facebook page, King Falls AM 660 On Your Radio Dial is at #107 on the list of popular podcasts. Maybe these guys deserve a Tv Tropes page, if we can find more info about them?
