23 with a bit of cropping and resized:
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I don't know, it looks too real almost like a 2001 reference.
Looks like it'll work.
I also like the Uncharted suggestion (using panels 1 and 3).
Hard for me to choose between those two.

Bump for votes; two in the green, one with consensus and a pretty commanding lead.
Is there any way to get a higher quality uncharted pic? It seems so artifacted or way too much bloom or something.
This one's crystal clear; calling it. Can someone please put up the winner? Thanks in advance.
Caption or no?
I added the image but it looks sloppy, might need to get cropped from the bottom or top.
Hollywood: Where the line between reality and fiction becomes blurry.
I think this will fit here but there are barely a dozen examples so i am fine with it going captionless.
I think we need to link a real mirage in the caption. What about 'Real mirages◊ don't hold a candle to what Hollywood tries to imagine.'

I like that one.
^^ I like it, though without the Just For Pun pothole. A pun either works or it doesn't.

37 for the caption? Host the image on tv tropes and without the pothole I guess.

I like that idea.
I prefer no caption.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Well I prefer to at least show people what a real mirage looks like in the caption, showing the difference visually between a real one and what a Hollywood one looks like.
Its amazing how many people don't know what a real one is and just believe its a fake thing.
How about: Hallucinations, mirages, what's the difference?
"Oh I see, no oasis."
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.^^ Like that one.
No consensus on a caption; locking up.
