I juat realized that the armor was used just so that the battle with Cheeta didn't became a bloody mess, as Diana's normal armor doesn't cover much, and it would be really hard to justify a bloodless fight with the way Cheeta fight.
Now, they should've found a better way to integrate the armor to the story.
Maybe have two fights with Cheetah? The first round, Diana fights her normal and gets all cut up, necessitating the need for the armor and she has to go on an adventure with Handsome Man Steve to find it in a race against time with failing powers and Max and Cheetah off doing their things.
Ok, who let Light Yagami in here? The suit was impervious to normal spears that were made in BC Greece.
That doesn't instantly mean a catwoman given super abilities by a reality warper should also be unable to break it.
It's like that one centuries old demon in Buffy who bragged that no weapon forged during his time could defeat him. Only to die from a rocket launcher.

It is funny how that flashback doesn't make the armor of Asteria look that impressive.
Like it sounds cool "the armor was used to defend the Amazons from the entirety of the patriarchy, man's army as the ultimate sacrifice."
But in practice its just her huddling as she's getting stabbed by spears from all sides. Guess its just another case of the film being very conservative with its spectacle.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I do think someone noted the action here is....very reserved. I know it was theorised that part of the backlash was the fact that this is the first new blockbuster that people gave watched for prepaid the entire year so the lack of action put off people...
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I thought the fight sequences were very...meh compared to the first film. I read an article where both the FX crew and the Stunt Crew for the first film were both part of Snyder's Production Posse but Jenkins went with different crews for WW 84.
Which would explain ALLLLOT about some of the dodgy CGI in the film and the lack luster fight sequences
It’s Honest Time.
I didn't think anything was really subpar on a technical level, the issue laid with some director choices and script issues. In the first movie No Mans Land was so incredible because of how much effort was put into setting it up, from Steve's description of its horrors to Diana seeing it firsthand, and then having her first costumed reveal given the right level of majesty. Likewise, while Diana vs Ares has its own problems it was a fight that had been building the entire movie.
I found things like the truck chase and White House fight more than competent with some cool moments, but the script didn't build them up on the same level. They just happen, with the stakes involved a lot lower and ill-defined. Diana as well had a weightless quality to her, which was consistent enough to have been a stylistic choice and not an accident.
Do you not know that in the service one must always choose the lesser of two weevils!Yeah, while sydner skill as director can be hit or miss(and that is all I will said about it), the skill he and his team have in production are wonderfull.

Agreed, Snyder has flaws but he knows how to pull off things visually.
His graphics are legit gorgeous honestly
"That's right mortal. Man, it really has been a long time since I watched the Channel Awesome guys. What happened to his hair?

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Glad it did pretty good.
Thinking about Cheetah's character or at least the Barbara version, isn't the Cheetah a curse on her not a blessing?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Yes in most of the origin tales being Cheetah is a curse, and in some versions she needs blood sacrifice to keep the power or to keep alive. Not fun.
I think is one of the thing people like about spiderman movies nowdays is that they kinda show him fighting minor villians.
Diana is a weird case because she supused to hide for years but them sudden she isnt so I guess that is the problem.
