Got around to post up the Hayarigami franchise page. I do note that the kanji, when you look at it via edit page, gets turned into code. The page I did displayed the kanji as proper, but the edit page shows this for instance - "&#35686"

I just wonder if there's a way to prevent this when you write up a trope page that has East Asian words in it that it won't turn into code.

The wiki doesn't support Unicode, so the best you can work with is ISO code page / HTML entity stuff that isn't properly handled by all browsers. Nothing can be done until/unless we manage to convert the underlying software, which is one hell of a chore.
