Good point I changed it
Vondal was never formally introduced to anyone in the game so far, so no one knows his name, and he doesn't know everyone's name yet either.
This - there should be time to sort out introductions later, although the ideal time to do that should've done that last night when the party was drinking.
Also, at the risk of sounding a little railroady and metagamey, I'd like to highlight that the dragonborn said that he'd bring them to the Bounty Office "later", not now - and moreso because something has gone wrong in the very inn which you're standing in.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Retconed!
Next post goes up in about 24h time. Apologies for the delay.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Got the posting bug again. Should I post something now?
I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos.Up to you, actually.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Next post is up. I rolled an Intelligence check to recall certain pieces of information for all of you. Details will be sent via PM. Also, kyef, have you sorted out that posting issue yet?
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Hmm. If the room is a tight fit for adult just standing, how could there be enough space for an overhead swing, the type that'd cleanly decapitate a body and slices deep into the mattress?
I'd argue that Miron is intelligence enough to point that out. Pyrite?
(Oi, could you at least wait for my PM?)
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation. The Npcs, nman.
What are you talking to me for? It's the character with 8 intelligence you should address.
Also, we have no idea what those two were equipped with. Or at least, I don't. I don't think a dwarf is the type to carry around a longsword or greatsword, for one.
Oh, in case you guys are wondering, yes I did figured it out.
I am merely an agent of 'random'. Because you know, the order is only inside our minds. Out here, there is only Chaos.Okay, could I get you all to hold off on the next post for another 24h or so while I get things sorted out? Sorry for the delay.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Calling it now: something explodes. Maybe some tree fell somewhere, too.
Oh, up yours - I saved that for the second act.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation. Are we going to have to dialogue out everyone's testimonies, or is this something that we can gloss over for the sake of time?
I was going to get to that, but in a nutshell: once Red gets his post up, I'll need a single post from each of you with as many (or as few) details as you're comfortable with writing out. Monologue only. The contents of your post will affect future events.
(This is also a chance for exposition on your backstory, if you're so inclined.)
There is a catch, though, so please wait for Red's post.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Ah, okay. In parallel, I presume?
Yup, in parallel.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.I'll be taking over for this monologue section since Pyrite is busy today.
Also, unrelatedly, is it just me, or is the House of Loaves and Fail, however bad it may be, still infinitely better than the House of Leaves and Fowl?
It's been fun.For the sake of expediency in the future, I, Lord Nman III Esquire du Lancet, do hereby grant Sir Pyrite the Greater, Magistrate of Golimar, and those attendants of his court which he deems responsible, permission to do my rolls for me.
Otherwise there's bound to be some serious waiting to get numbers sent back-and-forth, especially with Pyrite being like 15 hours ahead of me.
What nman said.
Back for a bit.
I've been rolling for you all for the most part, and don't mind doing it. Like I stated earlier, though, the problem comes when you can choose to add post-roll bonuses such as with guidance or Bardic Inspiration, which is why I'd rather have you make the first d20 roll instead in such situations.
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.
Double post to ask: Hey Ander/Deadpool, would the check you're doing rather be an Insight check than an Investigation one? Investigate the guard would make you go Sherlock Holmes into his outer appearance, while Insight can make you go like a psychologist and try to find the motive of why the guard is behaving like that.
(by my experience with guards, I'd say he's preetty uncomfortable with his current investigation and we might be getting the worse of it. People as orderly as military normally hate everything that isn't run-of-the-mill or routinely set. They also have the habit to always follow orders due to their lawfulness, and the most lawful ones do believe any order they follow is for the greater good in the end, so their justification for anything is just 'I have orders from my superiors' as hierarchy is also big with them. Since they didn't mentioned any superiors and were asking for a more deliberate view on the laws of arresting drunkards, you can tell how the guards probably are)
