I'm not seeing any misuse. We don't open TRS threads because people don't like trope titles.

So this trope's title makes it sound like it's for works that get updated releases with new titles, like Star Wars becoming Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope or Dark Souls II's next-gen port, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. However, it's actually for when an episode of a show has a special intro or title sequence, like the 50s-style title card for an episode of Supernatural that recently became the page image. I think it needs a better title.
