What happens to a person if you suddenly double there strength? (and give the Required Secondary Powers of endurance so there own muscles don't rip themselves off there bones)

Obviously they get stronger, but would they also have problems walking? I remember watching John Carter and seeing the Earthing on mars end up unable to walk at first and just jumping a hundred feet with every step. Obviously a mere doubling won't be THAT bad but I imagine there some sense of coordination that is lost along with a few cases of of thing accidentally getting damaged or crushed in a case of "not knowing one one's strength," but I'm having trouble picturing just how bad it would be.

It depends entirely on what you're going for.

I know that's not very helpful, but it's absolutely true. The "realism" of a story matters infinitely less than the purpose that the story is aiming to fulfill.

Sorry, it did not occur to me to say what the intent was.

While I do want to try and play the scene for some degree of comedy, I don't want to have the character just take a step and go flying into the ceiling since we still have normal(ish) physics.

The idea was figure if someone knew how bad the effects were, or even what the effects would be beyond some coordination issues and work from there. . . for that matter after thinking about it, I'm not sure how to depict those kind of issues. Just poor balance? but her balance is fine just her control.

The Showa Kamen Rider series tend to have at least a moment or two of this, and took pains to show how utterly dehumanizing it is when you suddenly realize that you might crush your friend's hand just trying to shake it normally, or break your love's ribs hugging them...

I have a story where the main character realizes that this has happened to him somehow, and immediately starts avoiding all personal contact with people around him.
