I started out with Dungeons And Dragons of course, and I actually wasn't that big a fan of urban fantasies. But the New World Of Darkness (I haven't played the Old World Of Darkness) had the most intuitive system in my opinion, ever. I got into urban fantasy because of the beautiful gameplay alone, which I guess is like learning to like soup because of a very pretty spoon.
